The dead silence was taking over the house. Chiyeon came out very long ago and unexpectedly she and Aerin went up and left the others sitting in the guest room. The girls have always been inseparable since elementary school until one of the families moved away. They get along very well and somehow, Chiyeon knows that Aerin too doesn't want to get married early. The two are each other's secrets bag.
My dad looks at me every now and then gesturing with his eyes for me to go upstairs and bring them. I only reply with my eyes why and there's no need. The time before he loses his temper I smiled innocently with a chuckle then walked up lazily wishing that they'll be asleep. I turned back a last time then my auntie told me to ask Aerin for her mother's hand cream. Of course I wouldn't reject.
The sound from my sister's room was filling the second floor. Music was loud as the two were singing their lungs out. The coincidence that happened was that I knocked once then received a call. I checked the name to see it's my friend.
Forgetting what I actually came for now and answered "Hey"
"Jeonghan..." The voice was weak and seemingly teary.
"What's going on, are you home?"
"Uhm-" The boy sniffled "He saw us" He sniffled again with trembling tone. I got more worried and curious at the same time. Who does he mean? Isn't he at home? Why is he even crying?
"Calm down. Where are you now?"

The night breeze was warm and calm. We sat on the bench facing the fountain in the middle of the park. There was a lot of people coming, sitting and some are having a good date time.
I sat down with him leaning on me as I comforted him by wrapping my hand around his shoulder and stroking it slowly. His hair was tickling my neck but I shrugged it off and waited for him to speak up.
Jun kept silent and was unbelievably worried. As a result, I patted his head a little hardly "What's wrong with you, tell me what happened"
Some sighs escaped the olders mouth as he sat properly and wiped his face a few times before looking up at me then at the sparkling fountain. "His dad saw us"
"Minghao's?"
Junhui nodded helplessly "He also threatened Minghao if he see us together again"
At this moment I didn't know what I'll say and just sat there watching the water flowing up and down. Jun stood up then walked to the fountain and sat on its ceramic edge.
"I'm afraid that something bad will happen to him" He told after I sat beside him.
"Wanna know my opinion" The latter nodded silently "It depends on what he saw. Make sure to be rational next time"
Junhui laughed unintentionally "Uhuh, it's as always" He tightened on his lips with a weak smile "His mother invited me over to dinner with the thought that her husband works nighttime today, he works at the hospital, but unexpectedly he came very early because the nurses that was supposed to have a day off went to work instead"
"You mean his mom knows about you?"
Jun nodded "Yeah, he told her" The boy picked up his phone and looked at the clock, nearly 12. His wallpaper was a picture of his two older sisters who also work at the hospital. Immediately I connected the fact he blurted seconds ago "Don't ask" Jun replied as if he read my mind "He's their boss"
'What a good point to start a connection'
I listened carefully to him while walking back to his flat. "My sisters don't know yet that he's Minghao's father but they felt doubtful because the two have some similarities"
