Trust me..

Chapter 26 🤍🤍

I go downstairs once I'm finally ready to let the boys see me in shorts and a T-shirt. I walk down slowly and I'm shaking. I walk into the living room and they all look at mean and say nothing.
I wait for them to talk but still nothing.

"I'm going to get changed I know u guys are uncomfortable" I say and go to turn around.

"No Sophie don't! You look nice" Josh says.

I look at him to see of he is lying but I think he might actually be serious.

"Wait what are those hand marks all over your arms?!" Jack says.

"T-they are from the guy from last night" I say.

The boys jsur look at me like they don't know how to react. Like they are mad about the bruises. But they don't want to make me sad. And I know they hate the look of my scars. But they don't want to hurt my feelings. And I know they look at me like one of my bones are gonna snap. But I wish they would just look normal when they look at me.

"So who's ready to go to my place?" Jack asks.

All the boys say yes and we get in the cars. And of course it took us 20 minutes to fix up a seating arrangement.

We drive to pick up Finn and he gets into one of the other cars. And now I'm extremely scared for him to see what I am wearing.

When we get to jacks I wait till everyone else has gotten out the car so I can have a deep breath before seeing Finn. I fell asleep beside him last night and just left him. Then... got assaulted. And I don't think he knows about that yet. But once he sees the bruises he will have to find out.

I get out of the car and me and Finn lock eyes.
He looks me up and down and dosent say a thing.
He walks over to me. And just looks at me.

"Will you say something" I say looking up at him.
"I have never seen you in shorts and a top before" he says. "Wait- why do you have dark hand mark bruises?! And why is there a cut on your hand?!" He says raising his voice.
"I..." but I can't speak.
"We will talk about it later" Josh says. "Now let's have some beers!" He says.
And all the boys head to the pool.

We are all sitting outside having fun. Music is playing, we are all tipsy at the least, and most of the boys are messing around the pool. The others are getting more beers.

Finn and Josh are having so much fun. And I'm glad to see them happy. I wonder if they would be this happy all the time if I didn't give them so many problems.

All the boys ordered some pizzas. They have a river and we are all sitting in a circle eating them. The boys are all messing around and they are getting very drunk now. It's funny to see how loose the boys are. Like they have no worries.

After about an hour the boys start to get tired and decided we are all just going to stay at jacks tonight because none of them can drive. It's weird not to be staying at home. They all yes jacks cloths to get changed into but I have nothing here.

"I'm just going to go home. There is nothing for me to get changed into here" I say.
"No way in hell you are not after last night" Josh says.
"What happened last night?" Finn asked.

Shit.

"Sophie you haven't told him?!" The boys said.
"What happened ?"finn asked again.
The bite stay quiet.
Finn looks at me.
"I- um I was walking home...and um.." I can't say it. I just can't tell him.
"And what Sophie?" Finn says.
"She got sexually assaulted by a man and when she got away he followed her home" Josh says.
"WHAT?!" Finn shouts. "Is that what the bruises are from?!why didn't you tell me?! Why didn't you just stay the night?!"
"I-I had to g-get home Finn I'm sorry" I say.

But Finn is still very mad. Hw walks out of jacks house and sits outside. Everyone stays quiet. I go to check on Finn while they go get ready for bed.

"Finn..." I say. Bur he dosent speak back. "I'm sorry" I say.
"Why didn't you say the night Sophie. If you had just stayed the night you would have been safe with me. Or if you woke me up I would have drove you home" he says. He won't look at me.
"Finn I had to get home and you looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake you up" I say.

I sit next to him and lean my head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry" I say.

He gives me a hug and I hug him back.

"It's not your fault Sophie, but next time you either wake me up or just stay over" he says.

I get butterflies at the fact he wants me to stay the night.

As we are hugging Jack comes outside.

"Hey soph I think I have found some stuff that might fit you" jack says.

Me and Finn come inside and I put some of jacks old pjs on. They are still a bit big for me but I tie up the bottoms with a hat tie. But the top is still massive and I have no more bobbles to hold it up. You can see the top of my bra. I'm going to need an alternative.

"Hey Jack do you have a smaller top?" I shout.
"Nah Sophie that's the smaller I've got" Jack shouts back.
"Sophie you can put my hoodie on if you want it" Finn asks.
"Please" I say.
Finn comes in the bathroom and gives me his hoodie.
I didn't realise he had fully came in the bathroom till I took the top of. There for he is looking at me with just a bra and pj pants. Shit shit shit.

He stares at my body and I know this is where he leaves. He won't want me to stay over, he won't want to be like we are right now. Wait what are we?

"You... you're really skinny- wow.." Finn says.
"Uh- thank you I guess?" I say.
He walks over to me and gives me a hug. He is so warm. And I feel like I fit perfectly in his arms. But I know he thinks I'm just going to slip out. So he hugs me tighter.

Once he lets go he puts the hoodie on me. And then we go to the living room with the rest of the hockey boys. Within 20 minutes half the boys are asleep on the couch. Because I am the only girl Jack said I can sleep in his room and the boys will sleep else where.

Me and Finn are just talking but then we realise the rest of the boys are asleep.

"Oh.. I don't want to wake them" I say.
"Ye we should probably sleep now" Finn said.
"Well if you want to keep talking you can just join me upstairs" I say. That was way too risky.
" uh sure okay" he says.
We go upstairs and just talk on the bed for about an hour but we are both starting to drift of to sleep.

But there is one thought going around my head.

What are we?

He is half asleep so maybe right now is the perfect time to say it but wait if he leaves.

"Sophie what are you thinking about?" Finn asks.

Shit i have to ask him.

"Finn... what- what are we?" I ask.

He doesn't reply straight away he just looks at me. But then...

He kisses me. He puts a hand in my cheek and kisses me. We start to kiss a bit more to the point we are now in a make out session. And then he is leaning over me.

I put my arms around his neck and he had both arms holding him up on either side of me.

The. All of a sudden he pulls away.
"Sophie is this what you want us to be?" He asks.
"Yes" I say.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yes Finn. I want us to be a thing" I say.

Then he flips us over and I am on top of him now and we are kissing again. But with tongue this time.

I straddle over him and give some movement to this kiss. Snd we are like this for about 5 minutes befor we both stop and lay beside each other.

"So we are a thing now?" I ask looking at him.
"Yes Sophie, we are a thing now" he says wish a small smile. He pulls me into his arms and we cuddle fully we are both asleep. Fie the second night in a row.

I could get used to this.
