"Take down these directions. Its right past that intersection, make a right at the light, it's the first house on the left."

"Thanks so much! If I had tried to find my way there I know I would have gotten lost. I'll definitely see you tonight," Jackie said as she walked away.

I'm not going to lie; I stood there with a huge grin on my face still kind of unsure whether or not I was daydreaming. But you had to understand that was Jackie Brown! She had the face of a model with these big beautiful eyes. She had an amazing body and she was adorably short. I'd always had a thing for short girls. I'd been practically drooling over her since freshman year, but I'd never really felt like I had a chance. That was all going to change in a few hours though. I had to tell the bros!

I got on the pink bike in front of me and began to pedal with a newfound confidence.

6 Hours Earlier...

It was just another completely normal day at the airport. People were boarding planes, purchasing grossly expensive airplane tickets, and being put through intrusive body searches as usual. Normally Rebecca would feel extremely uncomfortable and violated during these procedures, but today she hadn't even noticed the search. She was too busy thinking about him.

She missed everything about him. She missed getting lost in his deep hazel eyes, the smell of the cologne she had bought him last Christmas, and she especially missed the feeling she got when she felt his arms around her. She caught herself and quickly banished these thoughts from her head. It was time for her to stop dwelling on thoughts of him and move on. Obviously that's what he wanted since he hadn't fought to make her stay at all.

"Next."The brown-haired girl behind the counter said. This was it. Rebecca was only a few steps away from boarding a plane that would lead her to a new country, a new job, and a new life.

"Wait!"

Rebecca heard a voice ring out from somewhere behind her and turned to see a person pushing their way through the long line of people waiting to board. It seemed the closer the person got to her, the louder and more intense her heart began to pump. Finally, he had pushed his way through the whole line, and Rebecca caught the first glimpse of his deep hazel eyes and could have fainted right then and there. She probably would have fainted too, had he not placed his hand on her shoulder and soothed her with that hypnotic baritone voice of his.

"I know you have a prestigious job waiting for you, but you can't go to Paris! You can't go because I love you Rebecca Annabelle Smith, and I have a question to ask you." After saying this, he dropped down to one knee, and Rebecca could feel the tears begin to form in her eyes. She couldn't believe it! He really did care! "Will you marry me?"

"Oh Chad! Of-"

"Why do females actually think we're gonna do corny ass shit like that?" Rock's voice rang out from my couch, jolting me out of the brain-dead stupor the chick-flick had lulled me into.

"Because they've been conditioned by movies, television shows, and ideologies passed down from mothers to daughters to hold the whole male population to completely unrealistic and unachievable standards. The real question is why the fuck are we watching this?!" I asked. I had passed Rock the remote when he came in earlier and told him he could pick whatever he wanted to watch, but had I known he would pick a chick flick, I would have just kept the TV off.

"Hey, it's not my fault television nowadays is garbage. Besides, I just picked something; I didn't know it was going to be a chick flick! We wouldn't even be watching TV if Toad and Eric would hurry up." Rock said.

"They have been gone a while, but you know them. Toad can't go to the gas station and not buy some snacks." I said. Right on cue, I heard my front door swing open and a few seconds later Eric and Toad walked into my room with two full bags.
