After having lunch, Neela announced that it was time to leave. The group gathered outside Khanna's mansion, a sense of finality hanging in the air.
"Ma, I have some work. You guys go with Karan," Avni said, her tone resolute.
KK looked concerned. "But Avni, with Riya's lehenga, five people in my car is impossible. Riya will be very uncomfortable."
"Rama Bhai came to drop us, Avni. Even he will come with us now. KK's car is also small," Neela added, glancing at the tight space in the car.
"Neela ji, wait," Prakash interjected, raising a hand to pause the discussion. He turned and called out, "Mohan Bhai!"
Mohan, Prakash's personal driver, hurried over. "Haa sir, boliye."
"Drop Neela ji and Riya beta at their house. Take my car," Prakash instructed, his eyes meeting Neela's with a reassuring nod.
"Now it's sorted. Avni must have important work; let her go," Prakash said, addressing Neela with a calming tone.
With that, everyone dispersed to their respective places. KK and Sunari headed towards Avni's house, while Mohan prepared to drive Neela and Riya home. The group parted ways, each going on their own journey, the day's events fading into memory as they moved forward.
In the evening, Avni returned home and headed straight to her room. She changed into comfortable clothes and lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling and lost in thought. The door creaked open, and Suneri entered with a tray of food.
"Suneri, I'm not hungry," Avni murmured without moving.
"But I'm hungry, so get up," Suneri replied firmly.
"You didn't eat?"
"I'm waiting for you."
"You should be with DD. He needs you."
"I will go, but first, you eat."
Suneri placed the tray on the bed, took Avni's hand, and gently helped her sit up. She began feeding Avni, taking bites herself intermittently. Once they finished the meal, Suneri set the tray aside and went to the washroom to wash her hands. Returning, she stood in front of Avni, who looked up at her with a pensive expression.
"You guys never thought of having kids?" Avni asked casually.
"We wanted to, but since we hadn't revealed our relationship, we decided to wait," Suneri explained.
"Because of me, you guys have to—" Avni started, but Suneri cut her off.
"Shut up, Avni. Don't blame yourself. We waited because we wanted to," Suneri shouted, her voice firm.
