Chapter 12
After their conversation about the past and catching up on family matters, Vidhyut felt a sense of warmth and nostalgia. He looked at Avni, a spark of excitement in his eyes.
"Hey, Avni," Vidhyut began, "what are your plans for tomorrow? It's Sunday."
Avni shrugged, smiling. "I don't have any plans, actually. Just a lazy day at home, I guess."
Vidhyut's face lit up. "Perfect! How about you and Riya meet me at the Ice cream parlour? I'd love to spend some time with my best friends and sisters after all these years."
Avni's smile widened at the idea. "That sounds great! Riya would be thrilled to see you. She still talks about the fun times we had as kids."
"Great," Vidhyut said, beaming. "I'll text you the details. It'll be like old times, just catching up and having fun."
Neil watched their interaction, feeling happy for Avni.
Vidhyut nodded, his expression softening. "Yeah, it's really good to be back and to have you both in my life again. I've missed you."
Avni felt a wave of affection for Vidhyut, appreciating his genuine care and protectiveness. "We've missed you too, Vidhyut. Tomorrow will be special."
They chatted a bit more before parting ways, each of them feeling a sense of anticipation for the day ahead. As Avni walked home, she thought about how lucky she was to have friends like Neil and Vidhyut. The weight of the past seemed lighter, and she felt a renewed sense of hope and happiness.

After college, Avni went home, feeling excited about the next day's plans. She found Riya in the living room, engrossed in a book.
"Hey, Riya," Avni called out, making her sister look up. "What are your plans for tomorrow?"
Riya closed her book and stretched. "I don't have any plans. Why? Do you have something in mind?"
Avni grinned mischievously. "We both need a plan then. How about we go out tomorrow? I have a surprise for you."
Riya's eyes lit up with excitement. "A surprise? You know I love surprises!" She started guessing, her imagination running wild. "Are we going to a new restaurant? Shopping? Or maybe a movie?"
Avni laughed, shaking her head. "Nope, I'm not telling. You'll just have to wait and see."
Riya pouted playfully but couldn't hide her excitement. "You always keep me on my toes. Fine, I'll wait. But it better be a good surprise!"
"It will be, I promise," Avni said, smiling at her sister's enthusiasm.
As they chatted and planned their outfits for the next day, Avni felt a sense of contentment. The upcoming reunion with Vidhyut and the chance to spend quality time with Riya filled her heart with joy. She couldn't wait to see the look on Riya's face when they met Vidhyut at the parlour.

The next day, Avni and Riya booked a cab and set off from home, eager for their outing. As they arrived at the venue, Riya's eyes lit up with delight.
"Ice cream!" she exclaimed, smiling widely. "I've been craving it since this morning."
Avni chuckled at her sister's excitement. "I knew you'd like it. But that's not the only surprise."
They entered the parlour, and Avni guided Riya to a seat where a guy was sitting. Riya looked at Avni, her eyes questioning who it was. Avni tapped the guy on the shoulder, and he stood up, turning to face them. Riya squinted, trying to place his familiar features.
