The soft rustling of pages was the only sound filling the room as Shri sat curled up beside Riyan on the couch, her voice a soft murmur as she read aloud from her favorite book. The soft golden light from the table lamp flickered, casting warm shadows across their cozy little space.

"‘Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home"

Shri read, her voice low and comforting. She looked up to find Riyan completely entranced, his eyes locked onto her as if she were the most captivating thing in the room.

Riyan’s lips curled into a soft smile, and he reached over, gently tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Yeh tumhari favorite book hai, na?"

His voice was filled with a soft curiosity, but there was something more in it—something like wonder.

"Yes, ofcourse ri , I can't believe ki tumne kabhi Harry Potter padhi nhi "

Shri smiled, her eyes lighting up.

"It’s been my favorite since I was little. There’s something magical about this world, Riyan. It feels like home"

Riyan tilted his head, his eyes not leaving her face. "Hmm, no wonder log kinder Joy wale Harry Potter ke lia itna pagal ho rhe h , wese bunny , Kuch aur tumhe apne ghar ki yaad dilata hai kya?"

He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her skin as he softly teased

"Yeh magic waise tumhare aur mere beech bhi chalti hai na?"

Shri rolled her eyes playfully but couldn’t help the blush that crept up her neck.

"Shut up, Riyan,"

she murmured, her voice fond.

"Pagal ho tum literally"

He chuckled, pulling her a little closer.

"Kya? Tumhara favorite book padhne ke liye main pagal hoon?"

He made a mock pout, and Shri couldn’t help but laugh.

Just as the moment grew more intimate, her phone rang, interrupting the easy comfort between them. She glanced at the screen and saw Aryan’s name flashing. With a sigh, she slid the phone open.

"Ek second, Riyan,"

she murmured, sitting up and answering the call.

"Hello, Aryan."

On the other side, Aryan’s voice came through, sharp and professional.

"Shri, there’s something big I need to discuss with you. Mujhe tumhare liye ek job opportunity mili hai that could really change things for you , trust me you won't regret it "
