A tale of love ,
A tale of healing ,
A tale of trust ,
A tale of discoveries ,

But you can't lose something that never was yours

Riyan's POV
The moment Riyan saw her car swerving, his heart stopped.
One second, she was just ahead of him, speeding recklessly down the road, and the next-
Screeching tires. A sharp turn. A blur of headlights.
Then-impact.
A sickening crash echoed through the night, metal against concrete, shattering the air like a death sentence.
"Shri!"
His own voice barely registered in his ears as he slammed his foot on the brakes, the car skidding to a halt. His heartbeat was erratic, panic clawing up his throat as he threw the door open and bolted toward the wreckage.
Her car had slammed into the divider-hard. The front was crumpled, the windshield shattered into a thousand tiny shards, glinting under the dim streetlights. Smoke curled from the hood, thick and suffocating.
No, no, no.
His lungs burned, but he kept running, his mind screaming only one thing-is she ok?
She has to be okay.
Reaching the car, he yanked at the door handle with shaking hands, but it wouldn't budge. His breath came in ragged gasps as he stumbled to the other side, fingers slipping against the cool metal before finally wrenching the door open.
And then he saw her.
Slumped against the seat, blood trailing down her forehead, her face too still. Too pale.
No.
His hands trembled as he reached for her, his pulse deafening in his ears.
"Shri..." His voice was hoarse, desperate. "Bunny , wake up. Shri, please..."
Nothing.
A choked sound escaped his throat as he cupped her face, his thumb brushing over her cheek, smearing the warmth of her blood.
This isn't happening. This cannot be happening.
His fingers fumbled to check her pulse. He pressed against her wrist, then her neck-searching, begging for a sign.
Come on, just a little heartbeat. Just one.
But there was nothing.
Nothing but silence.
Nothing but the world caving in around him.
His breath hitched as he stared at her, his vision blurring. His mind refused to accept it, refused to believe that the warmth was fading from her skin, that the girl he loved-the girl he was supposed to spend forever with-was slipping away right in front of him.
"Shri, please," he whispered, his voice cracking.
"Open your eyes, bunny . Mai sab shi kr dunga I promise I'll fix everything. Just-please, come back to me."
