Selene and Sunna were sitting on their beds, listening intently to the story that their dad, Grian, and their father, Scar, were telling them.
Selene was leaning against Sunna, her older sister, as she was already falling asleep after the long day. Sunna then asked a question to her fathers, "So, that's your story? Because it's beautiful."
"Yes, sun. That's how me and your father became, well, us." Replied Grian.
"It's a beautiful story, dad" Said Selene, already half asleep but trying to stay awake a bit more.
"Alright, time to sleep, sis." Said Sunna as she took her sister to her bed, tucking her in and hugging her fathers.
"You're an amazing big sister, you know that, sun?" Said Scar.
"Thank you dad, you guys are also amazing fathers, I couldn't have asked for anything better."
Grian and Scar said good night to their daughters and finally went to sleep, knowing that their lives were how they were meant to be all along, no more danger, just them and their little family.
