I Need Him

I took the key from under his doormat and walked in. We were good friends, do him and his parents didn't mind.

" Oh, hey Raini. " He came up to hug me. I hugged back tightly, pressing my whole body against him.

" Are you parents home? "
" No. Royal meeting again. "
" Mine too... " This was the perfect opportunity. Maybe my only opportunity!

" Dexter... "
" Yes? "
"..... "
Dammit, why can't I speak?
" Raini... "

What I did next was so embarrassing.

" BABY WON'T YOU COME MY WAAAAY!? "
" Why are you singing?! "
" GOT SOMETHING I WANT TO SAAAAAY "

He grabbed my shoulders. " You sing whenever you can't say something... You like me don't you? "

I nodded quickly. He sighed.

Why is he sighing?

" I don't feel the same way. "

" WHAT!?! "
" I'm sor- "
" FUCK YOOOOOU! " I walked out and slammed the door.

I kicked the door to my house open.

" Raini- "
" HE DOESN'T LIKE ME MOM! " I jumped into my mothers arms and nuzzled my face into her 70 foot long hair.

" Oh, dear... " She gently stroked my own long hair and began singing to me softly.

Before I knew it, morning had come.
" Ugh... That damn trip is today... " I threw on some white jeans and a purple shirt, some sneakers and jumped through the mirror.

The portal led to right in front of FairyDun.

Besides me, there were a few other students and some teachers.

I heard another thump and I looked behind me to see Blanca with her hookah pen.

I sighed deeply and whispered. "  Bunny, put that away! " I snatched it from her and slipped it in her pocket. " I don't want you getting into any shit! "

" Hey, look. I'm just stressed. " She looked down.
" About what? "
" You and Dexter. What else? "
I looked at her wide eyed.
" He told me everything."

I rolled my eyes and stomped off.
Why did he have to tell her!?! It's so embarrassing... "
