I am a bystander

I am the person sitting behind you in class. I am the person walking behind you in the hall. I am the one sitting across from you at the lunch table. As I sit, I watch all their lives unfold.  I watch them rot and mold. I watch them do as they're told. Just a fly on the wall or  rainfall. They tell me their secrets, whether they intend to or not, I know it all. They do not whisper, they do not try. I am time, I am crime. I am the one, all seeing eye. I am not blind. I see you, but you don't see me. I am just a breeze.
