"Hello" Iris waved as she entered Emery's home, where he and his homeboys used as a chill spot on a regular basis to hang out. It was like their clubhouse, which was why Iris was never really interested in being there, being a beautiful woman like her who picked up on flirtatious stares and subtle hints. Although they knew not to try anything broadly, because of Emery's protection over his baby sister.

Iris was completely off limits to any of Emery's friends, except Lucky, but that was only because of the history between he and Iris that was already made back in grade school. Plus, Emery would rather it be his best friend than his enemy any day.

Usually, Lucky would smile and speak to Iris with some flirtatious comment following his greeting, but this time was different, but she knew why and understood why he would be upset. So instead, he just looked away, looking back down at the cards that were in his hands as she walked by.

Emery noticed her urgency but didn't pay it any mind. He knew it was just something that she may have left in her bedroom upstairs, one of his two spare bedrooms that she somehow made into hers as if she lived there faithfully. "Just grabbing something quick and leaving!" She announced.

After grabbing what she needed and heading back out of the front door to her car that was parked in the gravel driveway, she was met with Lucky, who was heading out to his own car, shuffling through his keys to press the unlock button on his SRT key fob.

"Hey Zidane" She spoke first, but instantly regretted it once she saw the look of his face once he looked back at her.

"Wassup Domo?" He answered lowly, proceeding to his car. "You got sum' better to do than to talk to me, don't it?"

She walked closer to him as his body turned to face her with his arms crossing over his chest. "Look ..." She shook her head. "I'm sorry. I really didn't have very much control over that. I was in restraints, he had my phone and—"

Kissing his teeth, Lucky mugged as he cut her sentence short. "Cmon man, Ion wanna hear how a nigga had you cuffed up"

"You're right, sorry— but I wanted to apologize to you. You won't have to worry about it happening again though ..."

Judging by Iris's face, Lucky cocked an eyebrow. "Why? You and ole boy ain't fucking with each other no more?" He asked. Iris started to say yes, but remembering what happened yesterday and him admitting he kissed Reign prior to that, she smiled vengefully and shook her head no. The sex didn't erase what Jasiah did and how hurt she felt, and it certainly wasn't a replacement for an apology.
