ONE WEEK LATER,

"Waddup with you?" Reign asked, "You been acting like you barely know me now, pussy. What's up with that?" She asked, the back of her hand gently smacking against his chest. "Got beef with a bitch?" She chuckled, her accent thick.

"Nah." He shook his head, his gaze fixed on the new truck filled with supplies waiting to be unloaded by his associates later on. His focus was on ensuring the inventory was accurate, something that required his immediate attention with his notebook & pen.

"Wha'? Ya' relationship?" She watched as he effortlessly climbed into the truck.

He peeled the jumpsuit he wore off his arms, tying the sleeves around his waist as he nodded, walking deeper inside of the truck as she stood on the outside with her rifle firmly in her hold, ensuring no one was around. "I guess, shit been weird when it comes to me & you since what happened, remember?"

She let out a soft chuckle, shaking her head, her laugh catching Jasiah's attention as he turned to her with his eyes narrowing. "I told ya', didn't I? That's what you get, bozo. I love her, especially for you. She such a cool person, & a bad bitch—an inspiration even. I don't know why you tried to fumble her for me. I don't want you nigga."

Jasiah scoffed, "It's crazy you say that, 'cause whole time she wanted yo' ass fired" He replied with a chuckle, watching as her expression shifted to one of surprise, her eyes widening & her mouth creaked open.

"Wait, what for?" Reign asked, her brows knitting together in confusion. "I was on her side!"

"She know what we used to be." He replied, his voice echoing through the cramped confines of the truck as Reign leaned against the outer threshold, resting her shoulder on the cold metal. "I told her about it after that whole lil' shit went down."
