📍 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

The club's lights cast a kaleidoscope of shadows on his face, Jasiah descending the stairs to greet Iris, who he had been ignoring texts from since last night's discovery. He didn't try to force a smile, his face remaining blank as he stopped in front of her. "Wassup?" She could feel the coldness in his greeting.

But he couldn't be too upset, because before finding out Iris was still in contact with Lucky, he had kissed Reign, but he still couldn't help but to be bitter. It was selfish and hypocritical, he was aware of that, hence why he didn't have much of a reaction. He was just as guilty.

"Hey, baby" Iris hugged around his neck, standing on her tippy toes for a more firm hold. "How has your day been? ... since we haven't talked all day" She let go of him and took a step back to create a small distance. A slight smile appeared on her face, hoping that Jasiah would mirror a smile back.

"It was good, actually. I got a lot of business done so I ain't got no complaints" Jasiah gave her the smallest smile, more so a smirk as only the corner of his lip curved in satisfactory of how his day had been going. "And I got some more business to handle in a few, money gon always for call me" He said before he grabbed her hand into his and turned around, guiding her up the steps behind him. "We gon handle what happened last night later though, know that"

Iris hated that those words excited her, what he meant being obvious. It just showed how much he had turned her out in such a short amount of time. Those words pleased her, starting up a new anticipation that she couldn't wait to get fulfilled. "Why not now?" She questioned before Jasiah glanced back at her, his expression being a little shocked at her response with his eyebrows slightly drawn together.

"Cause, what I got in mind we gon need to be in that room" He explained as they reached the top of the stairs to the upstairs level where they were in the hallway alone. "But I ain't too mad at you. I just need an excuse to pain you Ian gon cap"

Furrowing her eyebrows, Iris continued to follow behind him. "You're too nonchalant for me. I like for my nigga to care a lil bit"

"Nah sweetheart, it's just that I ain't no saint neitha'. So I guess we even now" He shrugged.

"... Wait" Iris stopped and pulled her hand from his, causing Jasiah to turn around. "What you mean we even now?"

"Nun baby, just let bygones be bygones" He smiled as he turned his hat to the back. "I slipped up ... then you slipped up ... but we can be better than that" He followed with a nod. "We can fix that when we fuck tonight"

"I— well— I can't be mad" Iris said as her eyes trailed away from him before they quickly darted back towards him. "So then who the fuck kissed you?"

"Shhh" Jasiah put his index finger to her lip. "Relax"

Popping his hand away from her, he kissed his teeth and dropped his arm back to his side before she stepped closer to him. "Jasiah, Who was it?"

"The details don't matter, cause what's gon happen with the information when I tell you? You gon get mad?" A smile grew on his face as he watched the expression on her face become frustrated. "Please do. Don't nun taste better than a woman who mad at me"

Iris shifted her weight to one leg and crossed her arms over her chest. "You think you're funny and you're the furthest thing from it. Which one of these bitches you letting— you know what?" She scoffed and threw her hand in a dismissive manner before she turned to walk away but she didn't get too far before he grabbed the back of her shirt and pulled her back.
