Nicki's POV:

Laying in the emergency room as Kelly scanned me, I knew. I knew I probably wasn't going to get good news. Rihanna and Bey had left out to one, move her truck, and two call Megan to update her. I was glad in a way because I couldn't stand seeing them cry. Kelly stopped on a spot before continuing for a moment and then stopping.

"So, you remember what we talked about last? The vanishing twin syndrome?"

"Yeah, it happened huh?"

"Yeah, Baby C, didn't make it. I'm so sorry Nicki."

"It's okay Kelly, I knew it for a while. Something always felt off. I was having cramps and stuff."

"Mother's intuition. The baby stopped growing after the last scan, that day was more than likely the last it was alive."

"I know, I woke up in the middle of the night and I just felt it. I prayed about it as I saw the light spotting in my shorts when I got up to go to the bathroom."

"And you only bled for the one night?"

"Yes, stopped in the morning. I've been feeling a little better since but just sad about it you know?"

"Yes, I can tell just from our talks. Rihanna's a good listener Nicki, talk to her. I know it's hard because you don't want to upset her but it's good for your mental health."

Kelly finished up and changed the ice pack on my face and checked the bleeding. It was so random, I slipped on the top stair on a screwdriver and smacked my face against the wall, splitting my lip and causing my nose to gush blood. I didn't even hit my stomach.

Beyonce and Rihanna came in and Kelly said she was going to keep me overnight to give me IV fluids and some antibiotics. She left out and I told them about baby C. They did good at not breaking down crying but just hugged me and prayed for the twins and Baby C.

Rih said she'd stay with me for the night and Bey agreed saying Meg was worried sick and didn't want her stressing out the girls in case they woke up. Rih told Bey to bring us clothes in the morning as she hugged her goodbye as Kelly and a Nurse came in to move to a room.

In the room, Kelly gave Rih a bed and we laid next to each other in the dimly lit room. Rih rubbed my forehead and we talked for a while before I went to sleep.

Megan's POV:

I grabbed Honey just as she passed out and put her on the floor. Luckily for me, she came too after a few moments. She said she was okay and laid there for while silently crying. I felt bad and comforted my baby until she fell asleep an hour later. I checked my phone for an update as Beyonce called me.

"Hey Meg, Kelly was here on call, I'm on my way back to fill you in and Rih spend the night up here."

"How is she? The babies?"

"Nicki is fine but Baby C didn't make it. Kelly says the day of the scan was more than likely the last day. So, luckily we were able to celebrate that baby."

I dropped to my lap and cried feeling bad and remembering my own loss and how much that sucked. I quickly pulled myself together so I wouldn't wake Honey and finished talking to Bey. I got up and quickly cleaned the stairs and wall of the blood before checking on the girls and Normani. I was in Honey's room, when I heard her balcony door creaking. I went over and closed it but it popped back open. I saw that the lock was warped and pressed the doors closed better and locked them.

I went back downstairs to see Honey was awake. I made her some hot tea and we sat in silence while she drank it before she crawled into my lap and I cuddled her. I comforted Honey and ended up falling asleep with her.

Beyonce's POV:

I considered cancelling the anniversary party but decided against it. After three days of sadness, prayers, and getting back into our routines, everyone was feeling better. The kids didn't know Nicki was having triplets so we just decided to surprise them with the twins after Nicki got out of the first trimester.

Our Moms were awesome with being there for us and helping Nicki. She was feeling better and was able to do more which helped her mood.

Lauren and I had been texting all day and everything was almost set and I was picking up our clothes for the party on my lunch break when I ran into Kiya. I groaned seeing her across the street in another store rushing out and over to me.

"Wait! Beyonce, Yoo-hoo!"

"Kiya...what's up?"

"Tell me why you aren't letting Skai over?"

"Oh, didn't see and Honey break up a few days ago?"

"They're on a break. Skai misses your family, you guys always spoil her and make her feel like one of the family."

"Uh-huh."

"Well, look, I've been wanting to talk to one of you. I've gotten a job assignment, out of state and I don't want to uproot Skai. I was wondering if she could stay with you for 3 months?"

"That's asking a lot Kiya, I don't think Honey would be comfortable."

"Come on Bey, we're family. Skai's been over there for two years with you and your girls."

"We have a full house at mine plus as you know, a pregnant wife, so I'm going to have to say 'No'.

"Please Beyonce, she's lonely and doesn't really have anyone, so what do you say?"
