Aimi trudged through the mud, her hooves caked in a thick layer of grime. The rain poured relentlessly, soaking her mane and chilling her to the bone. She let out a frustrated huff, casting a sideways glance at her companion, Rose the gryphon.

"This is the worst," Aimi grumbled, her voice laced with irritation. "My hooves are filthy, and I'm absolutely drenched. Why couldn't they have evacuated us in a nicer way?"

Rose glanced down at the young unicorn, her brow furrowed with concern. "I know this isn't the most pleasant situation, Aimi," she said, her tone gentle. "But the important thing is that we're safe."

Aimi rolled her eyes dramatically. "Safe? I'd rather be back in Ponytown, helping Michi and the others fight that monster!" she exclaimed. "At least there I'd be dry and comfortable."

The gryphon let out a soft sigh, her talons gently reaching down to brush away a stray lock of Aimi's mane. "I understand you're feeling frustrated, but this is for your own protection," she reasoned. "Ponytown is no longer safe, and we need to get as far away as possible."

Aimi's expression darkened, her hooves kicking up more mud as she trudged along. "Yeah, well, now my brother Enzo is probably getting all the attention back home," she grumbled. "He's always the one who gets coddled and fussed over. It's not fair!"

Rose listened patiently, her gaze filled with empathy. "Aimi, I'm sure your brother is just as worried about you as you are about him," she said, her voice soothing. "This must be a difficult and confusing time for both of you."

Aimi huffed, her ears flattening against her head. "That's the problem," she muttered. "Enzo always gets the sympathy, while I'm just expected to suck it up and deal with everything."

The gryphon's expression softened, and she gently placed a wing around Aimi's shoulders. "I know it doesn't feel fair right now, but your family cares about you deeply," she assured. "And I promise, once we reach safety, we'll find a way to reunite you with Enzo and Michi."

Aimi's steps slowed, and she looked up at Rose with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "You really think so?" she asked, her voice small and uncertain.

"I know so," Rose replied, her smile warm and reassuring. "We'll get through this together, Aimi. Just try to stay positive, and have a little faith in your loved ones."

Aimi nodded slowly, the tension in her shoulders gradually easing.
