Chapter 7 - Bypassed

Izuku and Maki had just encountered Suguru Geto, a special grade curse user, who seemed to be the causing the curses in Kyoto to sprout.

"You two are sorcerers, right?" assumed the newly introduced man, Geto. "Yes," confirmed Izuku, not wanting to fight the man, even though he might have to. "Then, I have no business with you, only the monkeys of this city," affirmed Geto, attempted to walk away, before Maki called out, "What the hell is your problem?!" she exclaimed, still curious on why he calls them monkeys. 

"Well," he began, "People with quirks have no control over cursed energy, their bodies have been engineered differently than quirkless people. Well, I'm sure that you were taught that cursed energy sprouts from negative energy, no?" Izuku and Maki nodded their heads, "This negative energy can leak from the people that have no control. The cursed energy will then combine forming new organisms. Curses."

"I want to exterminate those without control, and create a world without cursed spirits." Why he wanted to get rid of quirked people made a little bit of sense. However, it still didnt make it justifiable, in that sense. 

"So you want to create a dream world, where curses don't exist?" Izuku summed up, with a rhetorical question, "Well, every day, heroes try to create a world where villains aren't able to run free. And they don't do it by killing people with villainous quirks. Innocent people don't deserve to die, just to create a utopia. Sorcerers still exist to exorcise the curses. Even when new curses are create, sorcerers are still around to kill them. Albeit few."

"If you want to kill innocent people, we will stop you."

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, DUMBASS!" exclaimed Maki, "We may be strong. BUT THE TWO OF US CAN'T STOP A SPECIAL GRADE BY OURSELVES." Izuku did not change his mind, instead preparing himself in a fighting stance, taking off his sunglasses for the second time of the day. "Its either us, or a hundred million people. I choose the hundred mil."

"I don't support your antics, but 2 heads are better than one. If you went in solo, you'd likely be seeing heaven after he'd kicked your ass." Maki claimed, always seeming to find a way to annoy the boy. Izuku sarcastically replied, "Why thank you for your hospitality. Now. We fight."

Izuku rushed in, gathering cursed energy into his fist, attempting to land a large swing on Geto. However, the cursed user swiftly dodged to the left with a carefree look, as if he trying to play with them. Maki then quickly followed in, yielding her naginata, aiming the blade at Geto, and trying to stab his stomach. Suguru dodged again, but to the right, moving back, before going offensive.

As Maki and Izuku grouped back up, Geto released a long chain of purple curses, swinging them side to side. Izuku used Infinity to stop them, the curses slowing down as they approached him. At the same time, Maki pounced at Geto, attempting to catch him off guard, as he was focused on replenishing his curse chain. Maki ran behind him, before cocking her fist back, and landing a blow onto the special grade's back.

Geto was sent at least a couple yards back from the attack. "You guys seem to be quite strong for kids in your early teens. It seems Satoru has taught you well. Even so, if this is your strongest, you're not even close to my level."

"Then this means will have to ramp it up," said Izuku, as Geto swung his curse chain once again. Izuku then skillfully tilts his head to the left, dodging the attack, as he progressed forward. Izuku then dashed forward, as Geto redirected his attack, and Izuku stopped it with Infinity.
