Charlie is amazing. I really want to be a lawyer like her. She is awesome! The way she talks, the way she moves. I want to be just like her.
Dad is not guilty. Today was the day of dread. The dark day all my days have been afraid of. It turns out that some of the darkness is hanging on.
We are at Aunt Drew's house in Julian. I love it here so I'm not complaining, but the reason we are here is because there is a group of angry people at our house. The reason they are there is because my dad is not guilty. Which makes no sense, right? It is all backwards and upside down. It is like getting an A+ and failing the class.
Grandma is still a witch. She was on the news tonight saying crap about dad. She's a bitch! I hate her.
I just don't get it. It is all wrong.
