One little bonus chapter to celebrate the fact this is somehow approaching 40k reads, and because I absolutely loved writing these two. Enjoy and thanks again for all your support!

"You are the best thing, that's ever been mine."

Four Years Later

"I really don't remember this being quite such hard work last year." Lando hissed under his breath as he carefully descended the steps of the jet they'd taken back to London from Monaco to spend Christmas with his family.

"Are you only just figuring out now that adding children into the mix makes everything harder? I have been saying this to you for months!" Hannah laughed quietly as she followed him down the small set of steps on to the tarmac. "Look where you're going, if you wake her up after all that I'll kill you."

It was true, they might both be used to travelling around the world on a frequent basis but even the short flight from Nice to London had been something of a mammoth task with a three month old baby in tow.

The amount of extra stuff such a small person required seemed ridiculous. She was beyond relieved that they'd flown private and the only people they were disturbing with their screaming baby was themselves. Well, her actually. Lando had somehow slept through the entire thing.

"You won't need to kill me I'll die of sleep deprivation before you mange it." Lando sighed dramatically. "How can someone so small make so much noise?"

"You slept through most of it!" Hannah laughed. "I've never been so jealous of your ability to sleep anywhere, any time."

"Sorry." He shot her an apologetic look. He hadn't intentionally slept through the entire flight but he'd just been so tired it had been impossible to keep his eyes open.... "Mum is so excited for babysitting duties. Maybe we'll both get a full night sleep tonight?"

"Best Christmas present ever." Hannah agreed, holding her arms out to take their sleeping daughter from him as they reached the bottom of the stairs. "I still can't believe she's real."

"Me neither, well up until she's screaming all night anyway. I blame you for the set of lungs on her." Lando joked, doubling back to grab their suitcases.

The three months since their daughter had been born had been something of a whirlwind and really hadn't sunk in yet. Between the sleep deprivation and the end of the F1 season they hadn't really had a chance to take it in or celebrate yet. The pair of them simply staggering through each day like a pair of sleep deprived zombies, just trying to get to the next day in one piece without any form of disaster, which had been easier said than done.

"We're going to have to get better at this whole travelling thing if I'm going to survive a whole season of races with her in tow next year." Hannah told him as she strapped the baby into the car seat and he loaded the luggage in to the car. "It was hard enough last year and she hadn't even been born yet."

"At least you won't be throwing up in to every trash can and plant you can find this time." Lando laughed. "I still don't think Oscar has forgiven you for his hat."

"I don't blame him." Hannah wrinkled her nose in disgust. "That was traumatic for both of us."

In the earlier stages of her pregnancy she'd continued to travel to the races along side Lando to support him.
