You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
Lando's race season had continued as it started. He hadn't finished a single race without a podium since the start of the season. He was right up there in the fight for the championship, only a couple of points separating him and the leader by the time they reached the start of the European races.
They were both relieved to get back to Monaco and have a rest after Imola, another P2 finish for Lando. The Monaco Grand Prix was next and one she knew Lando was quietly hoping to win, being something of a home race, although she knew what he wanted was to win at Silverstone.
"God it feels like I haven't seen the inside of our house in years." Hannah joked as they walked through the door. "What are you looking at?" She turned around to find Lando standing in the doorway, a massive grin on his face as he wheeled both of their suitcases.
"You." He grinned, shutting the door behind himself. "You called it our house. You always refer to it as mine."
His smile was contagious, she couldn't help but grin back at him as he crossed the room and closed the distance between them.
"I think we've established by now that you're stuck with me, Norris." She grinned. "Whether you like it or not."
"I like it." He couldn't keep the smile off his face long enough to joke and pretend otherwise. "I'm so happy you're here, having you there at the end of every race has made me so happy."
"I'm going to be there when you win the championship too." She told him. "You can do it, you know you can."
"It's going to be a close one." He hesitated. "But I'm going to give it my best shot."
"You can do it." She kissed him softly.
"I've made plans for tomorrow." He said, out of nowhere, a weird look crossing his face.
"Okay?" She pulled back to look at him a little. "Do I get to know what these plans are?"
He shook his head. "No, it's a surprise."
"Lan, you're the worst with surprises. Why don't you just tell me now and get it over with?" She laughed. He'd never managed to keep a secret for longer than three hours. There was no way he was going to make it until tomorrow without telling her what he was up to.
"Nope." He shook his head. "You'll just have to wait and see."

Unbelievably, and she had to admit she was impressed, Lando still hadn't told her where they were going when they set off in his car the next afternoon. She'd made several attempts to trick it out of him, but he hadn't fallen for any of them, just laughing and changing the subject.
"What did you decide to do, about the charity show?" He asked, changing the subject after she had made yet another attempt to guess where they were going.
"I'm doing it, it fits nicely into the gap between races. I thought maybe we could stop in and see your parents for a day or two beforehand. Then we can drive up to London ready for the show?" She suggested. "You'd better say yes because I sort of already told your Mum we were going."
"When did you speak to her?" He laughed.
Hannah gave him a guilty look. "Last night, I was trying to find out what you're up to. Don't worry, she wouldn't tell me anything either." She rolled her eyes at him.
