First days

Today is the first day of junior year, so It's a new year which means new chances for most people. For some the year is starting a bit more stressful, as last night a deer ran into the front window of Lydia's car, having herself and Allison in it. Luckily for them nobody got hurt, except for the deer of course.

Because Lydia her car got wrecked she and Luna are getting a ride from Allison. The ride was a bit awkward with Luna and Allison not having talked since Allison got back from france. The two had lots of late night calls and texted everyday, but they just hadn't had the time to talk in person.

Their time apart gave both some time to work on themselves and being apart made them closer in a way. For the first time since they met nothing got in between them, making it so much easier for them to show their true feelings.

"Freshmen.. Tons and tons of fresh men." Lydia said watching the freshmens walk into the school. Luna scoffed seeing the young man walk as if they own the place. "You mean fresh boys." Lydia gives her sister a look. "Honey, they're 14."

"Eh, some are more mature than others."

"You know, it's okay to be single." Allison cut in. "Just focus on yourself for a little while, work on becoming a better person."

"Allison, I love you. So if you need to do that thing where we talk about me and pretend we're not actually talking about you, it's totally fine... But, I don't want a boyfriend, I want a distraction." Just as she finishes her sentence two good looking twin brothers walk in.

"Brothers?"

"Twins."

"Let me guess, you want one?"

"Oh I want one."

"Which one?" Allison asks looking between the twins.

"The straight one of course."

The bell rings and Luna closes her locker. "This will be a good year, I can just feel it." She says putting her arms around the other girls. "This is our year." The three girls walk to their next class, which is english that's being given by a new teacher.

Everyone took their seat and soon after received a text. 'The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the tranqual waterway, leading to the uttermost end of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky, seemed to lead into the heart of an immense darkness.'

The new teacher entered the room, her heels sounding even louder with the complete silence of the class. "This is the last line to the first book we are going to read. It is also the last text you will receive in this class. Phones off, everyone."

Luna and the rest of the class turn off their phones all impressed by her introduction. She gave up an assignment and the class did what they were asked.

Here and there Luna and Allison would share glances and after 10 minutes of Luna just staring into the back of Allison's head Luna finally leaned forward whispering to her. "Can we talk, later?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing."

"Can't wait."

The girls were taken back by a bird flying into the window. More birds are heading towards the school and one by one they all fly into the window. "Get down, get down, everyone!" The teacher shouts as the glass shatters and the birds fly inside.

Luna ducked down shielding Allison and others were doing the same thing. After a minute or two the bird seem to have taken off, but not without leaving a few scratches on the students.

Luna got up holding her hand out for Allison who happily took it and Luna helped her up. "You okay?" Luna asks inspecting Allison for any injuries, but she seems to be fine. "I'm fine, but you, you're bleeding."

Luna was confused as she hadn't felt anything during the attack. If Allison hadn't said anything she probably wouldn't have noticed the big cut on her upper arm. It was deep which concerned Allison. "You're bleeding badly."

"I'm fine, it'll heal." Luna shrugged knowing she's fine, she was more worried about what the hell is going on in beacon hills. First the deer and now birds, for all she knows the snakes are coming next. If the weird behaviour of animals wasn't bad, Derek's behaviour would be. Derek has tried for the past four months to ignore Luna and she could easily read him so she knows something is going on with him, she just doesn't know what yet.

People were free to leave the classroom, it was only Luna left to answer some questions that Stilinski has. "Is it just me or is beacon hills turning into more like beacon for the totally bizarre and supernatural?" Lydia jokes and Allison laughs until a unknown woman approaches them.

"Where's Scott Mccall? You're Allison, right?"

"Yeah, how do you kno-"

"Where's Scott?"

"He had to leave. He was supposed to be back in class..."

"Is he coming back?" The woman asks grabbing Allison's wrist. "Hey, easy with the physicality sweetheart." Lydia cut in resulting in the woman also grabbing her wrist. The woman held a firm grip on their wrists and Luna now noticed it too.

"You might wanna let go of them." Luna said stepping towards them. The woman took a deep breath and looked scared, but it wasn't because of Luna, she was staring at the twins. And just like that the woman let go of them and ran away.

Lydia grunts feeling the pain in her wrist. "Oh, lyds are you okay? That's a nasty bruise." Luna put a protective arm around her sister, looking around for the woman.

"Huh, me too." Allison said looking at the bruise on her own wrist.

"Come on, let's get you girls out of here. School can wait another day." Chris Argent said taking the girls home after an eventful day.
