It was around nine when Luna and Allison got to the party at the loft. the only source of light is the glow lights that are set all over the place. And the music is so loud Luna can barely hear anything over it. Looking around there's drunk teenagers everywhere dancing with eachother.
"We're gonna have so much fun tonight!" Luna yelled making the other girl chuckle. It made her think back to the conversation they had earlier today, which was mostly Luna convincing Allison to come.
"You have to come, it'll be fun." Luna says trying to convince Allison to come with her to Danny's blacklight party.
"Why do you wanna go to this party so badly, I thought you didn't feel like doing anything?" Allison questions the sudden intrest of partying.
"Maybe because I don't wanna feel like shit for a minute, okay? I want to let go and forget all about my shitty life."
"What really happened, Luna?"
"My mother happened... It's always her trying to talk me down and i'm just so tired of her shit... All that woman cares about is her perfect A student daughter and I simply don't want to be her anymore."
"But you are smart."
"But I can't sit down and learn for hours like Lydia can... And i'm okay with that, because I am who I am... I just don't want to be in a screaming match every time I walk through my front door."
By the time the clock hit ten Luna had already forgotten all about her mother. She leaned even closer into Allison still having her arms over her shoulders as Allison's hands were resting on Luna's waist. The two were just swaying back and forth to the music with Luna now having her head on Allison's shoulder.
"I love you, you know that right?" Luna randomly said.
"I know."
"Good... Because I mean it." Luna's eyes land on a woman who's painting Danny's chest and an idea came to her mind. "You know what would be fun?"
"What?" Allison asks.
"Me painting your body." Luna suddenly pulled away from Allison intertwining their fingers before she led the way through the crowd. "You mind if I borrow this?" Luna asked the woman who was painting Danny. "Go ahead." She smiled at the woman grabbing a paint brush.
Allison admired Luna as she was painting the side of her neck leading up to her face. "Oh, babe, you're gonna look even hotter then you were before." Luna says her eyes focused on her work.
When Luna finished painting she took a look at it and seemed proud of herself. "All done, babe."
"Thank you."
As Luna handed the brush off to Allison who started to paint some flowers on her face she saw Scott in the distance dancing with Kira. "Do you think we should tell Scott?" Allison asked.
"No. We still have a couple hours, remember? We promised your dad."
"Yeah, I know, but is that really a good idea... I mean I don't like to keep things from him."
"Maybe keeping things from him is for the best, at least for now. You don't wanna raise concern when it might just be a minor thing that your dad can fix."
"It didn't seem like a minor thing when you were shaking on the ground."
"Yeah and it scared the shit out of me, but there's no need to tell him yet, it's just a few hours." Luna said. She hated that feeling, the moment was awful, but she trusted Chris. If he knew what they were than she'd give him time.
Luna took the paint brush and put it back before taking Allison to dance again. After a while Allison pulled Luna in for a kiss when she felt something strange. She furrowed her brows as she pulled away.
"What? What's wrong?" Luna asked confused.
"There's something on your head. Behind your ear." Allison said which made Luna bring up her hand to start feeling behind her ear. "What the fuck is that?" Instead of answering Luna's question, Allison pulls her into the bathroom.
"Turn to the mirror." Allison says as she turns on the light. "You see that?"
Luna nodded having her eyes still focused on the burned mark on her skin. "What is that?" She asks as she puts her fingers on the mark to feel it.
"Looks like a number five."
"Somebody fucking marked me? What the-" Luna feel quiet when she heard someone groan. "Did you hear that?" She asks stepping away from the mirror and walks towards the buckets of ice. There she sees Ethan laying on the ground shivering the same way she was last night.
"Help me sit him up." Both girls took a side lifting him up into a sitting position and Luna took a hold of his wrist. "What are you doing?" Allison asks.
"It'll trigger the healing." Luna says right before she snapped his wrist causing Allison to flinch and Ethan shot up letting out a loud roar.
When the boy had calmed down a bit Allison took his jaw in her hand to turn his face to the side. Behind his ear was that same backwards five. "It's the same. It's exactly the same."
Whilst helping the boy onto his feet they heard a loud shout from Derek. "Get out!" They heard among with the sound of people leaving.
"We're screwed." Luna sighs as the two walked out of the bathroom whilst still supporting Ethan. Once out of the bathroom they saw the pack standing, facing the same dark figures Luna had faced the other day.
"Why are they all looking at me?" Aiden asks. "Guys?"
Scott and Derek came into action trying to attack them but those things easily dodged every hit. Derek growled before snapping one of their necks, only for it to go right back into place. Both werewolves were losing miserably and ended up getting thrown into a wall.
Luna and the others watched as Aiden fell towards the ground frozen up like the others were earlier this evening and the figures put their eyes on a new target. Or better said two targets as they looked right towards Scott and Kira. Before they could do anything the sun came up through the windows making the figures disappear.
"What the hell were those things?"
"Your dad's 24 hours are up." Luna said looking at Allison.
