3: Reply

I'm bored today.

It's Saturday today, and nakatambay lang ako sa dorm. May class dapat ako ngayon, kaso nag cancel yung prof namin kasi may sakit siya.

Si Zoe naman, may pasok kaya wala siya ngayon sa dorm.

Nakahiga ako ngayon at naka-titig sa kisame. May mga acads naman ako na pwede gawin to use my time wisely, kaso...tinatamad ako.

Game na bukas ng UST versus UE, at nakakuha kami ni Zoe ng patron tickets since hindi naman masyadong inaabangan 'tong game na to. Usually pahirapan makakuha ng tickets if FEU, DLSU, or NU yung kalaban.

"What if..." Bulong ko sa sarili ko while still staring at the ceiling.

What if mag good luck message ako kay Cassie para sa game nila bukas? Para kung may chance ako magpapicture, masasabi ko sa kanya na I messaged her to wish her luck?

Kaso 'yun nga, bihira lang siya magreply. And ready na ba ko gamitin yung message request ko? Baka masayang lang.

But at the same time, okay lang naman sakin kahit hindi siya magreply. I just really want to let her know that I support her, kahit na I'm just one supporter out of many.

In the end, 'di naman important yung mabibigay niya sakin pabalik. Ang important is mahatid ko sa kanya yung support ko.

Or maybe I'm just bored?

Kapal ng mukha ko maging bored, knowing na ang haba na ng to-do list ko.

I sigh as I sit up from bed. Siguro need ko lang mag-acads para masolusyunan 'to at para bumilis na rin oras.

Bumaba ako from the upper bunk before dragging myself to my desk.

Hay, sige na nga. Gagawin ko na nga plates ko para deserve ko talaga magcheer ng malakas bukas.

Two hours has passed since I sat here in front of my tracing paper.

Sa loob ng two hours, may na-accomplish naman ako. Hindi nga lang related sa architecture yung na-accomplish ko. Pero at least, may nagawa ako.

I sigh as I stare at the paragraph I typed sa notes app ko. Kakaiba na talaga tama ko.

"Feeling jowa." I say, laughing at my own message. Madami pa kong gusto sabihin, but I'm afraid na 'di niya talaga babasahin pag nagsend ako ng nobela sa kanya.

Kaya okay na siguro to, short but sweet, if ever basahin niya. I'm sure she gets hundreds of messages a day.

Pero wala eh, wala na kong pakialam talaga kung mapapansin niya ko or hindi. I just really want to send her my message.

I highlight and copy the paragraph from my notes app and go over to Instagram. Without thinking twice, I go to Cassie's Instagram, press the message button, and paste the paragraph.

"Here goes nothing." I say, hovering my finger over the send button.

I press the send button, and lumabas agad yung invite sent sa baba ng chat box. My heart immediately starts beating faster, na para bang nag first move ako sa crush ko.
