Near the small pond in the garden, where lovely lotus were blooming, Princess Alice stood gazing at the reflection of the moon on the water.

Christian: A witch you are, ain't you. Disappearing into thin air right after the music stops can only be explained by witchcraft.

He must have searched for her everywhere, but Alice didn't seem to care. She continued staring at the pond, ignoring the prince.

Christian: Are you one of the princesses forced into marriage for the welfare of the kingdom?

He asked directly, hoping for a negative answer.

Alice: Forced for welfare of Kingdom? I simply don't care, ur highness

Christian: Through this marriage, you will become the Empress of the South, but u say you're not particularly concerned. It's quite amusing how little you care. You intrigue me, Princess.

Alice: Once again, your amusement is of no concern to me.

Alice retorted, not wanting to hear more. She quickly wanted to return and have a glass of wine and a good sleep. She wasn't prepared for a conversation with her fiancé, who looked exactly like Emperor Alexandr.

Christian: You're as cold as always

He mumbled, making Alice look at him with surprise.

Alice: As always!?

Realizing his mistake, Christian quickly cleared the misunderstanding.

Christian: I meant to say, You're as cold as always the rumors say. I've heard plenty of rumors about you; perhaps that's what sparked my interest

Alice: I have a request, your highness

Timidly, she spoke with intimidating eye contact, surprising the prince with her contradiction.

Christian: Yes, anything you ask for

He replied happily, seeing Alice request something out of the ordinary.

She approached him, standing uncomfortably close, causing Christian to gulp as the scent of rose, which she wore, hit his nose. She delicately touched the tip of his long hair, which brushed against his shoulder

Alice: Your long hair... never cut it short.

Christian: Sure, but I believe I deserve to know the reason?

Alice: Your face reminds me of someone. If you cut your hair short, then I don't think I would treat you accordingly

Christian: I won't inquire about the individual, Princess. However, if I unknowingly resemble him, wouldn't it be beneficial for you to inform me of his characteristics, so I can avoid crossing any boundaries?

Alice stepped back. She looked at the moon and recalled the past with a straight face.

Alice: A wolf, brave and fearless, yet a cunning fox, indifferent to everything except his treasure.

Christian: Do I detect a hint of hatred in ur eyes?

Alice: Hate? If it is anything it is pity, ur highness.

Prince Christian, supposed to be confused, had no expression as he watched Alice walk away

Christian: Do I have the right to request you to tell me the entire story, Andria?

He whispered..
