Chp 3- Yellow Roses

(A week later)

We were on a planet exploring. Ot was vibrant. Colourful. Beautiful. As me, Ruby and the doctor explored I saw a field of roses. But not any old roses. Yellow roses. It was a huge field.

"Ruby come look at this!" I ran over to the field and stopped at the edge of it.
Stepping in a field of Roses would give you a lot of cuts from the thorns unless you have some sort of protective clothing.
"Woah! Thats a lot of yellow roses. I don't think i've ever seen so many," Ruby raised her eyebrows.

I pulled out my camera and took a photo of the field, "I love yellow roses."
"Why? Just out of curiosity?" Ruby turned to me as I put down the camera.
"Not sure to be honest. I just always have since I was a teenager or something like that," I smiled, "Do you want to take a photo together?"

"Oh I'd love too," Ruby got closer to me and wrapped her arm round my waist. I wanted to squeal from excitement but that would not be a good idea.
I held the camera up and we took a selfie with the rose field and sunset in the background.

After we took the photo, removed her arm from around me and took the camera to have a look. I wanted to groan from the loss of her touch.
"Oh thats beautiful," Ruby touched the screen with her fingers, "I think we're gonna have to take more photos like this on every planet we go too."
"Oh one hundred percent... well unless we are in danger so it may not be the best thing to stop for a picture," I chuckled.
"True. True," Ruby nodded.

"I might get this picture framed actually," Ruby gave me my camera back.
I blushed but luckily i don't think it could be seen cause of the sun.
"Get like a silly colourful frame for it or something," I grinned.
"Yeah!" Ruby chuckled slightly.

"Hey you two!" The doctor was around ten metres away, "Ready to explore?"
"Yes!" Ruby grinned and grabbed my hand, dragging me over.
I laughed following, "Is you grabbing my hand and dragging me along gonna become a regular thing?"
"Oh yeah," Ruby nodded.

This only caused me to keep questioning in my head to if she liked me or not. I hoped she did. I really hoped.
