Chp 4- I wont leave

(A week later)

We were all on a mission. But something happened and i blacked out, falling to the floor.

Eventually I woke up. I was lying on the bed in the TARDIS. I looked to my right and saw yellow roses in a vase.
"You like them?" I heard a voice and realised someone was holding my hand.
I turned to my left and saw Ruby sat by the bed on a chair, her fingers intertwined with mine.
"You remembered," I smiled.
"Of course I did," Ruby moved some hair from my face.

"What happened?" I asked.
"You kinda got stabbed and it somehow caused you to completely black out. You've been out of it for a couple days. But you're okay now but on strict bed rest," Ruby explained.
"Great," I chuckled, "Urgh! Okay no laughing that hurts."

"Well well well. Look who finally decided to wake up," The doctor leaned on the door frame.
"Hey," I smiled.
"We thought you were a goner. We started planning the funeral and everything," The doctor joked.
"Ha ha very funny," I spoke sarcastically.
"I'll be right back," Ruby kissed my forehead and left the room.

I blushed hard and the doctor came and sat on the edge of the bed.
"I couldn't get her to leave you, you know," The doctor gave me a reassuring smile relating to the feelings I told him a week prior.
"Really?" I was happily shocked.
"She only left to go to the toilet. I had to bring food to her. She wouldn't leave your side," The doctor gave me his usually big grin, "I think she most likely likes you back."
"Wow," I smiled thinking about that.

Ruby came back a few minutes later and sat on the bed.
"Im back. And I'll be happy to entertain you," Ruby grinned.
"Thanks Ruby," I smiled back.
"I'll leave you two to it," The doctor left.

When he left I tried to sit up.
"Oh! Come here," Ruby gently helped me up.
"Thanks," I smiled as she propped me up against the headboard, "Ruby... the doctor told me you didn't leave my room."
"Well... i didn't want to leave you alone. Wanted to make sure you had company," She blushed.
"Do you- Do you like me?" I nervously asked.

When i said that, Ruby looked into my eyes almost searching for my feelings.
"I may- I might- I do yeah. I do like you. I really do and its driving me mad," Ruby chuckled.
"I like you too," I admitted with a smile.
"You do?" Ruby looked at me with hope.
"If I could get up properly and kiss you right now i would," I added.
"Well then," Ruby moved closer to me

She sat in front of me, moved some hair from my face and leaned in kissing me. When she did, I held her neck, kissing her back. It was perfect. Her lips were so soft but even if they weren't i don't think i'd care cause they're hers. Once we pulled away, our foreheads resided against each others and we looked into each others eyes.

My hands found Rubys and I was grinning like a kid on Christmas.
"I'd never actually kissed a woman before," Ruby told me.
"Don't worry. I never had either. Was the kiss good for you too?" I asked.
"Are you kidding? I loved it," Ruby wrapped her arms round me gently and kissed me again.

I immediately kissed back. Her lips were so addictive, I loved it. I just wished i could hold her forever. I also wished I could pull her onto my lap but that wouldn't be the best with the fact I'm injured.
Ruby kept an arm round me and placed her free hand on my cheek, "I'm right here okay? I wont leave."
"God you're amazing," I grinned.
