Chp 7- After the date

Once we got back to the TARDIS, we saw it was in night mode. Warm lighting and soft humming.
"We're home," I called out but not too loud.
No response.
"The doctor must be in his room," Ruby whispered.
"Thats means we're all alone," I smirked at her.
"As much as i'd love to press you against the console and kiss you, maybe we should get some privacy," Ruby hugged me from behind.

We walked to my room and we went in.
"You wanna wear some of my clothes?" I opened my wardrobe.
"Yes please," Ruby grinned and I gave her some joggers and a t-shirt.
"Do you want me to turn round while you change?" I wanted to be polite.
"I don't mind if you look," She shrugged.
"Okay," I got changed as well into something similar, and we both looked at each other's bodies as we did.

Once we were both in our cosy clothes, Ruby ran to me and wrapped her arms round me making us fall onto my bed.
I giggled, "Pouncing on me now?"
"Yes beautiful," Ruby was on top of me and kissed me.
I wrapped my arms round her neck keeping her as close as I can.

I pulled my lips away, "TARDIS dim the lights."
The TARDIS dimmed the lights dimmed.
"Thank you," Ruby thanked the TARDIS.
"Where were we?" I held her face, pulling it back to mine and kissed her, sliding my tongue into her mouth.
We made out for a while. Kissing each other and feeling each other.

After a little but we decided to just cuddle instead of taking it any further. We were under the duvet and I had my head on Ruby's shoulder, nuzzling into her.
"You're really cute when you nuzzle into me," Ruby played with my hair.
I blushed and smiled.
"And theres the adorable blush," She stroked me cheek
"I think you find anything about me adorable at this point," I pointed out.
"Ye that might be true," Ruby grinned.

"Im so happy the doctor found and made you a companion, because being with you is the happiest I've ever been," I propped myself up on my elbow and played with Ruby's hair with the other hand, "Your just so beautiful. But not only that. You're kind hearted and determined and sweet. When I see your smiles and giddiness it lights up my day."

"Oh honey thats so sweet," Ruby pulled me on top of her, "I love how honest you can be. How brave you are. You are so unbelievably brave! I love it. But at the same time i want to be your shield and protect you."
"You want to be my shield?" I grinned.
"Ye i can be a big metal one that knights have," She said and we both giggled.

"We never got desert at the restaurant so how about I got get some ice cream from the freezer and we can watch a movie?" I sat up.
"Oh that sounds fantastic," Ruby nodded.
"Cookie dough?" I got out of bed.
"Cookie dough," Ruby responded in agreement.

I went to the kitchen to get the ice cream and found the doctor in the room.
"Hi!" I grinned a lot.
"Oh my god hi how did it go?" The doctor leaned on the counter.
"Perfect! Just like i wanted," I went to the freezer and took out a tub of cookie dough then i grabbed the spoons, "And guess what?"
"What?" He raised his eyebrows.

"You know how i've always wanted to kiss someone in the rain?" I bit my lip.
"No way!" The doctor smiled.
"Yes way," I jumped up and down a little.
"Thats amazing. Come on!" He held up his hand for a high five.
I gave him a high five, giggling all happy.

"Whats going on in here. You two aren't good at staying quiet while excited," Ruby leaned on the doorway.
"Just telling the doctor about our spectacular first date," I wrapped an arm round her neck.
"Yep! You have no idea how much Y/N has talked about wanting to be kissed in the rain," The doctor let Ruby know.
"Shhh," I shushed him.

Ruby grabbed my chin and made me face her, "You really like to be kissed in the rain that much."
"Yeah..." I gave her a little smile and blushed.
"Then be prepared to be dragged into the rain a lot," Ruby wrapped her arm around my waist tight, pulling me into her.
"You two are cute but get a room," The doctor said, not all that serious as he left the room.
"Oh we will!" I yelled.
