Chp 5- Getting ready

After some bed rest and healing for my body, me and Ruby decided it would be a great idea for us to go on our first date. Ruby went back home to look at all her clothes and decide what to wear and I was still in the TARDIS. I was running between my wardrobe in my room in the TARDIS and the big TARDIS wardrobe, trying to decide what to wear.
"Okay! Okay! Okay!" The doctor came over to me and held my shoulders to stop me, "You have come running between your room and the walk in wardrobe five times now."
"Yes. And?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Well for starters take a breather," The doctor did an example for me, taking a deep breath in and out.

"No I don't have time to take breathers," I shook my head.
"Why? You have an hour and a half until your date with Ruby, Y/N," The docor pointed out.
"Yes! But I have to figure out what to wear. This is a date with Ruby! Our first date and Ruby is perfect which means I have to find the perfect thing to wear. Shes amazing and I just want this first date to be everything to her. Everything to us," I blurted.
"Y/N. Ruby already thinks that you are beautiful. She will love whatever you wear," The doctor assured me, "Come on I'll help you."
"Okay," I took a deep breath and nodded.

"First lets pick one wardrobe and the other can be used if we really really need to," The doctor suggested, "So? Your wardrobe or the TARDIS wardrobe?"
"Errr... mine," I decided.
"Good. Good. Come on!" The doctor seemed quite enthusiastic to help me and took the lead.

We went into my room and I already had clothes lying everywhere.
"Woah! Okay! After getting you dressed we are doing a serious clean up just incase this date does even further," The doctor looked in shock at the messy room.
The doctor looked through my piles of clothes and the ones still in the wardrobe.
"I know you like wearing dresses and suits so I think you should pick one and wear the other on your next date," The doctor glaced at the pile of blazers and the pile of dresses.
"I guess I'll wear... oh I dont know!" I groaned
"Pick one or I will," The doctor looked back to me.
"You pick," I sighed.

"Right! Your gonna wear a dress tonight, "He moved the blazers to the side, "Now pick a colour."
"Green!" I picked quickly.
"Good!" The doctor pointed at me, "See! We are getting somewhere miss Y/L/N."
The doctor picked out the three green dresses I had and I went for the medium length one that wouldn't be tight to my legs.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!" I ran to the wardrobe and fished out my black corset belt to go with it.
"Good. Maybe match them with some black heels. I think I've gotten you on a role so I will now leave you too it," The doctor gave me the dress, "Once you've gotten dressed I'll help you tidy up this fashion mess."
"Thank you," I hugged him.

I got dressed into the green dress and put on the corset belt. I put on some strappy black heels and then I looked for some accessories. I decided to go with a gold necklace with a star charm, and a cute little bangle. I then put on very little makeup. Eyeshadow and eyeliner. To finish off the look I put on a small brown leather jacket.

"What do you think?" I opened my bedroom door.
"Oh look at you! Ruby is gonna love it," The doctor grinned and gave me a quick hug.
"Thank you. Now lets clean up," I grinned.
