Hyacinth's POV
The knight's oath is finally done. It was held in the Empire's church and both me and my knight were blessed by the high priest.
Pareho na kaming palabas ni Eryx sa church nang merong pamilyar na babae ang kumakaway sa gawi ko.
"Lady Hyacinth!" She softly shouted.
It turns out that it was Kesiah. She was holding a parasol, her maids were behind her, she then started walking towards our direction.
"Good day lady Kesiah." Bati ko saka marahan na yumoko.
"How are you? It's been a while since our last meeting." Magiliw niyang sagot.
"Buhay pa naman as of now— I mean, I'm doing fine so far." Agad kong bawi sa sinabi ko.
"By the way, the letter you sent me, I don't quite understand it so I haven't send a reply to you." Awkward niyang sagot.
Wag ka mag alala, yung letter mo rin di ko masyadong maintindihan.
"It's alright Kesiah, I'm not quite awake that time so kung ano ano na lang ang naisusulat ko." Tumango naman siya bilang sagot.
Napatingin siya sa gilid ko kung na saan si Eryx. Gumuhit ang gulat sa kanyang mukha ata agad maayos na yumuko at bumati.
"Sorry for the late greetings lord Eryx. I was caught off guard talking with lady Hyacinth." Pormal niyang saad.
"No need to be formal now, lady Kesiah."
"Sir Eryx is my newly appointed personal knight now." Nakangiti kong sabi.
"Woah, really? So the reason you're here is..." Nagpalipat lipat ang tingin niya saming dalawa kaya't natawa ako.
"That's right. We've been both blessed by the church and recited a Knight's oath." Tango ko sa kanya.
"I'm glad to hear that. I still want to stay a little longer but I need to pay a visit to the church." She sighed. "Lady Telia will held a tea party at her house and she told me to invite you, tho I know that she'll send a letter to you in any moment." She chuckled. "I'll see you at the tea party, Hayacinth." She wave at me before making her way to the church.
"You two are really close enough to call each other's name without formality." Dinig kong sabi ni Eryx sa gilid ko.
"Well, want me to call you by your name too? Sir knight." Ngisi ko.
"Can you?" Hamon niya.
"Of course, Eryx." Nangaasar ang tono ko.
"I'll consider myself as your close friends now, my lady." Tawa niya.
"Since we're close friends now, call me Hyacinth." Lalong lumawak ang ngiti ko kaya't napailing siya.
Huminto kami sa kung saan nakaparada ang kalesa na sinakyan ko, si Eryx naman ay sumakay na sa kanyang kabayo at sumabay sa bilis ng kalesang sinasakyan ko.
Agad rin naman kaming nakarating sa mansyon. An extravagant carriage caught my attention as soon as we arrive at the Harthwin's gate.
Inalalayan ako bumaba ni Eryx sa karwahe. Mabilis na nagsipunta sa gawi ko sina Miya at Rowena.
