Khalil, kaser and ashlyn got off the bus, with aiden and ben following.

"what are you two doing?" ashlyn spoke, looking at aiden and ben

"coming over, i figured it would be better to get off here" Aiden smiled

"you know we have to leave in an hour, right?"

"i thought I'd tag along this time, in case there's an emergency right?"

"Right.. anyways, we're going now." Khalil Spoke, waving goodbye.

Kaser and khalil walked in silence. soon they arrived at home.

"we're ho- oh." Kaser looked around the empty house. Khalil frowned and walked up the stairs to her room.

She laid down on her bed and hugged her pillows. softly sobbing as she bursted crying.

why am i crying.. i don't know.. my chest hurts.. Khalil thought as she buried her face in her pillows.

The door opened quietly, Kaser stared at khalil sadly. Kaser placed a box down and opened it before walking out.

Something rustled in the box, catching khalil's attention.
khalil sat up and slowly got off the bed, walking to the box.
She opened it, and a black retriever dog jumped out, tackling khalil. it looked like it was about 2 months old.

"what the!?" Khalil yelped as she got licked by the dog.
Khalil stared at the dog and noticed the collar.

Kevia? that's her name? what's it with me and my family having K names. Khalil stared dumbfounded.

"did dad leave you..?" Khalil spoke, patting the dog.

"kaser, did i go too far?" Khalil spoke, staring at her brother.

"Hm? in what?" Kaser spoke muffled as he munched on his food.

"about Tyler.."

"No? he deserved it."

"still.. i feel like i should've-"

"stop, he deserved it. he wouldn't shut up. that halfwit can't understand anything and why ashlyn hadn't said anything about.. all 'at." Kaser spoke as he continued eating

"now keep eating before i snatch yo food"
