(THIS CHAPTER IS LONGER THAN USUAL)
After a few hours, Asami fell asleep with her head resting on Korra's lap. Korra, smiling softly, gently placed her hand on Asami's head before beginning to meditate, leaving her physical form behind to enter the spirit world. As she walked through the ethereal landscape, a chubby figure approached her, causing her to startle and attempt to hide. The figure, chuckling sweetly, found her and greeted her, saying, "Hello there, young Avatar." Stepping out of hiding, Korra recognized the figure as Iroh and joyfully exclaimed, "Iroh! What are you doing here?" Iroh smiled warmly and replied, "I am here to guide you on your spiritual journey, my dear Korra. You looked lost," he chuckled. The spirit world around them glowed with mystical energy, creating a peaceful atmosphere for their conversation.
As Korra and Iroh continued their conversation in the serene spirit world, Korra couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and guidance in Iroh's presence. "I've missed your wisdom, Iroh," Korra admitted, a hint of nostalgia in her voice. Iroh's eyes twinkled with understanding as he replied, "And I have watched over you from the spirit world, my dear Korra. You have grown into a remarkable Avatar." Korra smiled gratefully, feeling a deep connection with her past and present. "Thank you for always being there for me," she said softly. Iroh's gentle laughter filled the air as he replied, "It is my honor and privilege to assist you on your journey, Korra. Remember, the spirits are always with you." With a renewed sense of purpose, Korra and Iroh continued to walk through the enchanting spirit world, their bond strengthened by the mystical energy surrounding them.
Korra's expression turned somber, Iroh looked at her with concern, asking gently, "What's wrong, my dear Avatar?" Korra sighed, her voice heavy with self-doubt as she confessed, "I feel like the worst Avatar. It's been three years since my parents passed away, and all I seem to have achieved is popularity in the world, especially at school." Iroh listened compassionately before offering his sage advice, "My dear Korra, true strength comes from within. The challenges you face may seem insurmountable, but it is in overcoming them that you will truly grow and fulfill your destiny as the Avatar. Your parents would be proud of the person you have become, and so should you."
Korra then replies to Iroh, her voice tinged with sadness, "I can't seem to be proud of myself. I'm in a toxic relationship with Asami, who's talking to her Ex that was involved in killing my parents. I can barely train properly without students wanting to jump all over me, and frankly, I'm confused about my whole purpose when nothing but petty stuff has been going on." Iroh listens attentively as Korra pours out her heart to him. After a moment of contemplation, he responds with compassion, "I understand the weight you carry, Korra. But remember, even in the darkest times, there is light. It is in facing these challenges that you will find your true strength and purpose. You are not alone in this journey." He then offers a gentle smile and extends an invitation, "Why don't you join me for some tea, my dear Korra? A moment of peace and reflection may help soothe your troubled heart." Korra's eyes soften as she accepts his offer, grateful for his understanding and guidance in her time of need. Together, they walk towards a peaceful spot in the spirit world, where they can share tea and wisdom in the tranquil surroundings.
Asami woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing and sat up, glancing at Korra before sharing a loving kiss with her. Before getting out of bed, she playfully decided to leave a hickey on Korra's neck. The doorbell rang once more, prompting Asami to get up and make her way downstairs to open the door.
Mako looked sheepish, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm so sorry, I accidentally saw you drive in the gate last night," he admitted, laughing awkwardly. Asami's expression remained stern, but she nodded curtly. "Is everything okay? Did I say anything wrong last night?" Mako asked, his eyes searching hers.
