Summer had always been thier favorite time of year. The sun-kissed beaches, the salty breezes in the air and the sounds of crashing waves... It was paradise to Bad and Etoiles. They had grown up together in a small beachside town, spending thier days surfing, playing beach volleyball, and exploring the hidden caves along the coast.

But as they got older, life took them both in different detections. Bad went off to college in the city, while Etoiles stayed behind to help run his family's beachfront resort. They both had tried to stay in touch, but as the years passed, their messages grew fewer and father between... Eventually, Bad and Etoiles drifted apart, their once inseparable bond faded into just a distant memory...

That is... Until fate intervened one summer day. Bad had decided to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of the city life and booked a last-minute vacation at the very same resort he and Etoiles had spent so many summers together. As Bad walked along the sandy shoreline, memories of his and Etoiles carefree days flooded back, and he longed to reconnect with his dear old friend.

Is was as if the universe had heard Bad's silent plea, for just as he turned a corner, Bad stopped right in his tracks. He spotted Etoiles standing by the waters edge. Time seemed to stand still as their eyes met, the years melting away in a instant. With a bit of hesitation, Bad walks towards Etoiles, a nostalgic smile on his face.

"Etoiles..." Bad says, his voice filled with emotion. "It- it's been so long."

Etoiles turns around, his eyes widening in surprise at the sight of Bad. For just a small moment he was speechless, his heart pounding in his chest. Memories of their shared past flooded back, and Etoiles felt a rush of nostalgia wash over him. (Or hit him like a truck lol x3)

"Bad." Etoiles finely managed to say, his voice tinged with disbelief and happiness. "I can't believe it's really you."

And just like that, both of them fell into an easy conversation, thier words flowing out effortlessly as they both caught up with each other to make up lost time. They talked about thier respective lives since they had last seen each other, sharing stories of triumphs and setbacks, laughter and tears. It was like as if Bad and Etoiles had never been apart, their connection strong as ever.

As the days turned into weeks, Bad and Etoiles spent every moment together, rekindling thier friendship and rediscovering the amazing bond the had once shared. Both lounged on the beach, swam in the crystal-clear ocean, and watched the sun slowly set over the horizon, lost in each other's company

But amidst the laughter and joy, a delicate tension began to bloom between Bad and Etoiles. A spark of something more, something more and deeper than friendsip. At they both lay under the star-studded night sky, the air think with unspoken words, Etoiles finely got the courage to speck his heart.

"Bad..." I whispered, my voice quite. "I've never actually stopped thinking... About us"

Bad turns to me, his eyes looking at me as if searching my face for any sign of hesitation. But it looked like as Bad sees was the sincerity and longing of the same emotions he had in his own heart.

"Etoiles..." Bad replied softly brushing a lock of his hair out of his face "I've missed you more them words can express..."

And in that very moment, they knew. They knew that their second chance had arrived, that this summer was not just a chapter in their shared history, but was a new beginning. A chance to try again, to rewite their story with a flourish of hope and love. (Omg god thier breaking the fourth wall)

As the sun rose on and shined over the resort, Bad and Etoiles stood hand in hand, the promise of a future stretching out before them like the endless sea. They knew that there would be challenges ahead, obstacles to overcome, but the also knew that as long as they trusted and had each other, they could overcome anything that could get thrown at them.

And as Bad and Etoiles watched the waves crash against the sandy shorelines, their hearts beat as one, their souls entwined in a love that stood as strong as Bad and Etoiles. For them both, this summer would forever be remembered as the season of second chances, a time of rediscovery and renewal, a time when two old best friends found their way back to each other, against all odds.
