With the arrival of the weekend, Jaemin decided to take Sohyun out on a date in an attempt to break the tension that had settled between them following their recent argument. The awkwardness had lingered after their fight, and it now seemed like the ideal opportunity for them to spend some time together and rekindle their connection.
He's been like this for 6 days in a row... As they walked toward the entrance of the amusement park, Jaemin couldn't help but notice Sohyun's sulky demeanour. As Sohyun clung tightly to the hem of Jaemin's shirt while walking beside him, his downcast expression and gloomy mood were palpable.
He's cute, though... As he observed Sohyun, Jaemin couldn't help but find him endearing. He gently wrapped his arm around Sohyun's body and pulled him closer, a warm smile blossoming on his face. "You'll get lost if you don't hold onto me," Jaemin remarked, his voice laced with affectionate teasing.
Sohyun looked up at Jaemin, a slight pout forming on his lips despite the flutter in his heart caused by their sudden proximity. "I'm not a kid," he protested, his tone laced with defiance.
Jaemin couldn't resist the opportunity to tease more, responding with a mischievous lilt, "Like the way an insane person always believes they're not insane."
Sohyun, feeling flustered, spun around and muttered, "I'm going home!" in an attempt to escape the teasing banter.
With a determined expression, Jaemin extended his arm to stop Sohyun's retreat. "Enough of the sulking," he urged; a hint of playfulness showed in his tone. "Let's have fun today..."
Amidst his frustration and exhilaration, Sohyun unexpectedly grabbed Jaemin's arm and bit into his forearm, a mixture of irritation and excitement coursing through him.
"Ow!" As Jaemin yelped in surprise at the unexpected pain, Sohyun relented and backed away with a satisfied grin, declaring, "Now I feel better. Hehe..." His mood lightened as he eagerly locked arms with Jaemin and exclaimed, "LET'Z GO, Jaeminz!"
Jaemin laughed heartily, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "First, let's get those dorky headbands," he suggested, a spark of excitement animating his voice.

As they approached the shop, Sohyun's protest echoed through the air, "I'm not gonna wear that! It's cringe!"
Jaemin halted in front of the shop, an impish idea lighting up his eyes. "Let's settle it with rock paper scissors—loser wears it," he proposed; a playful smirk was dancing on his lips. Jaemin was set on capturing a photo of Sohyun adorned with a cat or bunny headband. He was determined to make this happen, no matter the cost.
Sohyun raised an eyebrow defiantly and took his stance before Jaemin. The thrill of competition brought new energy to the moment. "All right," he declared with a determined look, ready to take on the challenge.
Jaemin spread out his right hand, his fingers forming a closed fist. His eyes locked onto Sohyun's, a mischievous glint in his gaze. "One... Two... Three! Rock, paper, scissors!" He announced, his voice filled with anticipation. With a swift motion, Jaemin's hand changed to form a flattened palm, representing his choice: paper.
Sohyun responded quickly to Jaemin's count, forming a closed fist to represent his choice: rock. "Ugh!" A slight groan of defeat escaped Sohyun's lips as he lost the first round.
Jaemin swiftly initiated the next round with a confident "Rock, paper, scissors!" His hand poised itself to form scissors. Sohyun followed suit, forming a rock with his fist for the second time.
Sohyun's enthusiasm heightened as he declared, "Yay!" His eyes gleamed with anticipation.
"Last round," Jaemin reiterated, a hint of nervousness seeping into his voice. "Rock, paper, scissors!"
