Oppa?...

Sohyun glanced at the guy standing before him, feeling a mixture of surprise and disbelief. His physical appearance appeared different from before, with his height and build now being more masculine than before. His jet-black hair was shaved short, his skin tanned as if he had recently returned from the army, and his facial features bore a striking resemblance to So-Ah's, except for the scar across his left eyebrow and a piercing on his right ear.

Haebom got up from his seat and greeted the guy, "Soejun, you're here?" He then put his palm over Soejun's shoulder and pointed it out to Sohyun with his other hand. "He's my junior and his name is Sohyun. He joined our club today! Be good to him..."

Soejun took a look at the boy in front of him. The boy looked too fragile and weak in his eyes. He turned his gaze to Haebom and asked in wonder, "You didn't threaten him or something? He looks too weak to be in this club..."

Haebom laughed in response. "Ahahaha... I'm not an asshole like you. He has potential—"

"I'm... I'm supposed to meet my friend, so I gotta go, Haebom Sunbae!" Sohyun cut off Haebom's words as he sprang up from his seat.

Haebom looked at him, surprised. "Oh? Okay... Then, see you later..."

Sohyun rushed past Soejun and Haebom, his body trembling with fear. It was strange how he was no longer So-Ah, but the moment he saw Soejun—So-Ah's older brother, every cell in his body felt threatened, like a little hopeless girl again as she used to be in the past. This feeling brought back memories of So-Ah getting beaten by his brother over and over again until she decided to learn judo to protect herself and get hurt less.

Why would he be at the same university as me?!

He won't recognize me, right?

I'm dead after all...

He sprinted outside the building, the adrenaline in his blood causing his heart to race furiously inside his chest. His breathing became short and ragged, his legs about to give out, but before he could succumb to them, he bumped into the chest of another person. That person's strong grip tightened around his waist, just barely catching him as he stumbled back in response and nearly fell. He frantically flapped his arms and tried to balance himself, but he was so lost in fear that he didn't realize who had caught him.

"Have a dog chased you?"

He finally stopped moving and looked up, panting hard, as he recognized the familiar voice. "Jaeminz?"

Jaemin smiled as he held Sohyun still in his arms, a playful smirk on his face. "Why are you so surprised? We were supposed to meet here, remember?"

Sohyun stared at him for a few seconds, trying to comprehend. "... Yeah..."

Jaemin's face turned serious as he asked, "What's wrong?"

Sohyun pulled out of his arms and smiled awkwardly. "N-Nothing... I just saw a dog earlier..."

A bulldog... Named Soejin...

Jaemin's eyes wandered around their surroundings. "Huh? Really? Where?"

Sohyun pointed out the bushes next to the building as he scratched his head. "T-There..." He then locked his arm into Jaemin's arm and said, "Let's go... I'm starving."

"Okay," Jaemin responded, dumbfounded.

What's wrong with my life nowadays?... Sohyun wondered as he walked away with Jaemin.

While the two of them were sitting in a fast-food joint, eating their sandwiches, Sohyun announced, "I joined the Judo club."
