Y/n got home in silence and collected herself. Sitting at the Armed Detective Agency, she realized that she wouldn't have gotten her little girl back if she sat back and relied on them. Y/n understood that there were protocols and rules all too well, but when it came to Kaya, rules didn't matter. Whatever it took, Y/n would get her daughter back. The vengeance burned Y/n's heart and she went into her closet and got everything that she needed. Before heading out, Y/n caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror, her eyes glowed purple and there was this certain darkness that came over her. Not a single soul had ever seen her so upset.

Y/n's calmness was unsettling as she drove to the Port Mafia. The only sound that was heard was the sound of Y/n's car accelerating. The car zoomed through the streets of Yokohama, barely stopping for anything. After about twenty minutes of a silent car ride, Y/n arrived at the only base that could hold Kaya. Five ominous, dark buildings towered over the city and Y/n took a deep breath in before entering the middle building. The door automatically opened and a woman with a blonde bob ran over to Y/n.

"Who are you? What business do you have here?" she questioned Y/n. Y/n gave the woman no response and soon heard the sound of a gun being loaded. When Y/n looked up, she saw the inside of the barrel. "Don't make me repeat myself," the blonde haired woman warned Y/n. A small chuckle escaped Y/n's mouth. "Put it down," Y/n ordered, staring deep into the blonde haired woman's eyes. Having no control of her body, she tossed the gun down and looked at Y/n wide-eyed. "Do me a favor and fetch your higher ups," Y/n looked villain-like as she stood over this woman with the intent to kill who she had to.

"Turn around," Y/n heard a voice from behind her. As she turned around, a dark piece of fabric flew right past her almost hitting her. "Nice try, where's your leader?" Y/n asked, getting cocky. The fabric pulled back to the man with no eyebrows, slashing Y/n's face as it did. "I need you to listen to me carefully, whoever you are, last night someone here captured a small girl, you are to show me the way to her before I have you dead," Y/n explained calmly with a smile on her face. "What makes you think I would listen to the likes of you?" he scoffed. "Because you don't have a choice," Y/n explained as the man started walking towards the elevator unable to control his body.

Y/n entered the elevator and watched as the dark-haired man pushed the button for the 23rd floor. "You know, it's way too easy, if you care about committing crime properly, your base shouldn't be this easy to infiltrate," Y/n lectured the man, who stood there in silence and glared at her. "What? Never been beaten without a finger laid on you?" Y/n asked. "There's a reason why your daughter was taken from you, and you've been aware of her potential, it's been in the back of your mind for a long time," the man explained. "Don't talk like you know me, lead me to my child," Y/n said as the elevator got on the 23rd floor.

The man walked out first. "You know it's the truth, that's why you've hidden her for years, I have to admit, we had a hard time tracking you down," the man explained, causing Y/n's eyes to widen. She knew she would no longer be safe. The two of them got to the end of a hall and the man opened the door. "After you," he said, holding the door open for Y/n. Kaya was on the ground coloring with a girl who had blonde hair and was wearing a red dress. "Get away from my kid!" Y/n yelled at the girl, who ran toward the man. "Are you hurt Kaya?" Y/n asked, her voice breaking. "Yeah I'm okay mo-" Kaya suddenly stopped speaking. "What's wrong baby?" Y/n asked. There were many people standing behind Y/n and she heard guns start to fire. "Keep the girl safe!" a different man's voice was heard.

Bullets flew into Y/n's body, hitting her in her lower back and the back of her thigh. "Mommy!" Kaya screamed. Y/n gathered the strength to turn around see who had shot her. A group of men stood behind a man in a trench coat, Y/n knew this was the leader. "Get away from m-" Y/n was slammed into the floor, not able to look at the boss. "Such a shame, they were having so much fun," his voice was sinister. Y/n tried fighting him, but it was no use and her eyes were soon covered. "Kaya, don't worry, Mommy will fix this," Y/n said, ignoring all of her pain. Y/n's ears started to ring and all the voices were muffled.

Y/n then woke up sitting in a chair, tied up, her wounds were closed but she was still blindfolded. "Where am I? Where is my daughter?" Y/n yelled, her voice getting hoarse. "She's like you Chuuya," she heard the boss's voice again. "Huh? I'm never that loud!" Y/n assumed that was Chuuya speaking. "It's such a shame, you would excel so quickly here and with your daughter, but you allow that idealist to hold you back," the boss explained. "I refuse to make bargains with you scum," Y/n insulted the boss. "I deserve thanks for tending to your wounds and leaving your precious Kaya unharmed, it'd be a shame if anything were to happen to your precious girl because you got careless," the boss was closer to Y/n now. She could smell his cologne mixed with rubbing alcohol and brass.

"I see how it is, you took an oath so you couldn't let me die, isn't that right doctor?" Y/n connected the dots. "I don't think you understand, I kept you alive because I wanted to, that oath means nothing now, I suggest you bite your tongue and cooperate before I throw you 20 stories down," the boss threatened. Y/n kept her mouth shut. "Your daughter has a version of your Hypnotic Eyes, you can join her and us here...or you lose both your daughter and your life on the same day, the choice is yours," he explained.

"You wouldn't do that, if my daughter is needed as much as you say she is, you wouldn't be threatening her life like mine, let's get this over with. You can end my life and take my daughter, just keep her safe and give her a high rank when she is of age," Y/n stalled. "I knew you were smart, your daughter will be in good hands, Chuuya," the boss said. Y/n heard footsteps coming to her and a gun be loaded. The cold metal touched her forehead, and she braced herself.
