I sat there eating some breakfast it's been about a week since I've been here and it's been nice. Everyday was the same since day 2 which was get up have breakfast then go walking around the compound until lunch then hang with dad in his lab until supper. After supper I would go sit on the edge of the pool sticking my feet in I started bringing shorts with me then after the pool go to my room and watch tv until bedtime. I wanted something to change I didn't know what to change though plus if I wanna go anywhere outside of the compound like go to the city I have to have someone with me. I understand my dad wants me to be safe but I would like to go experience the world again. I didn't meet Steve, Natasha and Bucky yet they just went straight to their apartments to change and what not but their swinging by today. I finished my cereal getting up and putting my bowl and spoon in the sink. I decided to go grab my from my room then headed down to the garage. I quickly texted Pepper saying that I was going to the city for a bit please don't freak out I'll be back soon. I picked a random car from dads many cars going to the drivers side and as I was about to open the door I heard someone speak "I don't think Tony would be happy that you are taking one of his precious cars." I turned towards the voice seeing that it was Captain America himself but with a beard and hair a little longer than usual.

I shrugged "I'm pretty sure being his oldest daughter he'll be fine with it." Steve looked at me shocked before looking me up and down letting his eyes land on my face. "You must be Harley" he said still looking serious "aren't you suppose to have someone with you?" As soon as he asked that my phone dinged so I looked at it seeing it was Pepper saying okay have fun so I showed him the screen of my phone saying not according to Pepper before getting into the car and closing the door behind me. I put my bag on the passenger seat looking in the driver side visor the key fell onto my lap so I picked them up and put the key into the ignition starting the car up. I put it in drive putting pressure on the gas peddle driving forward. I left the garage looking into the rearview mirror seeing Steve standing at the garage door watching me leave.

It took me about an hour before I reached the city. I parked the car turning the car off then got out looking around at the shops as I closed the car door. I locked the car before I actually walked away I'm pretty dad wouldn't be happy if I got one of his cars stolen on my first time being in the city by myself.

I held my bag close to me as I walked along the sidewalk. I can admit I'm a little nervous and a little scared because of the fact that I don't have someone with me but I know I'll be okay. Dad helped me create a bank account getting a bank card with it he also put some money into my bank account so I don't have to steal his card. I spotted a shop I wanted to go in and check out so I went in. I looked around seeing all the unique things they are selling. It's one of those stores that sell all sorts of things like antiques and things from other countries. I spotted a few things I wanted so I got them then went to pay for them. Once I was done paying for them I left the store with the items in a bag.

After a few more minutes of walking I saw a small grocery store so I went inside looking around at all the food and stuff. I grabbed a bag of chips a box of microwavable popcorn and some different kinds of candy. I went to pay for my things the store clerk put them in a bag I paid for them with my card then took the bag and the receipt thanking store clerk before I left. I walked back to the car as my phone started ringing I rolled my eyes at that.

I dug into my back jeans pocket bringing out my phone looking at the screen seeing that it was dad so I picked it up saying hello. I heard him ask why I went into the city alone "well I'm 26 for one and two I don't need protection dad." I heard him go ha! before saying well at least tell him or Pepper before going out. I stopped next to the car "dad who told you I was going to the city?" I hear him say um then say Pepper did so I said well there you go I told somebody now I'm gonna hang up and get into the car. We both said bye before I hung up then unlocking the car. I got in putting my bag and the two plastic bags on the passenger seat. I stuck the key into the ignition turning the car on. I quickly put my seatbelt on putting the car into drive pulling out of the parking spot carefully. I started driving towards the compound turning the radio on. The radio station that the radio was on was playing classic rock I sighed going of course classic dad.
