I ran up to Pepper and Morgan once they stepped off the elevator giving them big hugs. After we hugged we went to sit down on one of the couches in the living room talking about what we missed over the last couple of days I even told them about what happened with dad and the platform. A hour goes by and dad walks in stating he wants some time with these two "well you could've joined like an hour ago." He looked at me and said don't start with me. "Oh come on don't act like that dad." He stuck his tongue out at me before sitting down next to Morgan and gave her a big hug. I started talking with Pepper again then dad took over so I got up and left the living room to see if I can find Steve in this big ass tower. Twenty minutes later I found him in the training room beating up a punching bag. As I was about to say something he punched the bag hard enough that it flew off the hook landing with a big loud thud on the floor. I knew he was strong but damn not that strong. He sighed looking down at his hands before turning my direction to grab another punching bag off the floor. When he went to grab the bag when he saw me standing there he had this look on his face. I walked up to him putting my hands on his cheeks "you okay?" He nodded his head yes but I didn't believe him. Just as I was about to call him out on his bullshit tears started coming out of his eyes I pulled him into a hug. He dropped the chain to the punching bag wrapping both of his arms around my waist burying his face into my right shoulder trying to hold back sobs. After a dew minutes he managed to calm down a little to tell me what's going on. "Last time a relationship got this good it didn't end well." I rubbed his back as he kept his head buried in my shoulder telling him it's not gonna be like that this time "plus you can't keep running from relationships take it from my dad." We pulled away from each other looking into the others eyes "I'm not gonna leave you like that either." He wiped the tears from underneath his eyes before looking at me and he saw the seriousness on my face. "I'm sorry it's just..." I shushed him giving him a kiss which he accepted. We kissed for a good minute then pulled apart we smiled at each other "it's fine and we'll be better then fine." He nodded his head okay as he said okay I took one of his hands pulling him along. He asked where we were going I told him it was to get him out of those sweaty clothes and into clean dry ones then we were gonna go walk around the city for awhile. Once he was dressed in different clothing and we left the tower he was feeling a little bit better.

"So where are we going?" I looked at him as we stopped at a corner to get ready to cross the street. I sighed telling we were going to my favorite place. He asked which is "Dairy Queen!" which caused him to look at me like really "oh come on it was part of our first date." He smiled at me saying fine before we crossed the street.

We walked to the Dairy Queen two blocks from the tower. The sun was shining and the weather was hot so a blizzard would be perfect right about now plus maybe something sweet would help Steve a little. We reached Dairy Queen within fifteen minutes I was surprised that it wasn't busier. We ordered what we wanted paid for it before we shoved off to the side to allow others to order. We talked about random things while we waited for our blizzards to be made. When our blizzards were done we were called back to the counter to collect them. We thanked the people behind the counter then left Dairy Queen eating our blizzards. We talked a little while we walked and ate our blizzards it's nice to hang out with him. By the time we got back to the tower we were done eating our blizzards so we threw the cups out before entering the tower. We got onto the elevator he pressed a button to the living room area of the tower the elevator doors closed. I looked at Steve who was looking at me with a smile on his face I just shook my head looking straight ahead again. I felt him grab my hand and give it a squeeze I smiled a little bigger. The elevator doors opened a minute later we got off going towards one of the couches and sat down letting each others hands go. He put a arm around my shoulders as we sat back he looked at me. I sighed before I decided to start talking "So what do you want do tomorrow?" He sighed stating he doesn't know then leaned in for a kiss so I accepted. Within seconds we were making out not paying attention to who was gonna come in. It was a good minute or so before we heard someone cleared their throat causing us to pull apart and look at the person. Dad stood there looking at us with a smile on his face.
