It's been a few hours since the whole being attacked thing happened. Steve, dad and Pepper still haven't shown up yet and it was making me really worried. I walked around the compound with Nat trying not to worry so much and so far it's not working. I looked over at Nat asking if she knew how much longer she shrugged "who knows but they'll give word when they can." I nodded my head okay before sitting down on a couch in the living room bringing my legs up to my chest and put my chin on my knees. Natasha sat down next to me and wrapped her arms around me with a smile planted on her face "don't worry baby girl everything will be okay." I let her hug me I just closed my eyes leaning into her embrace trying to think of anything else. I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until I felt someone carrying me my eyes flew open only to see Steve carrying me to his room. He looked down at my face and smiled "I was hoping you wouldn't wake up." I shook my head a little as he got to his room. He put me down on the bed asking me if I still wanted to sleep I told him yeah. I kicked off my shoes putting my legs and feet up on the bed as he made his way to his side of the bed. I got under the covers as he took his shoes off I smiled a little. He laid down on the bed next to me coming over to me and wrapping his arms around me. We got really comfortable my head on his chest and my arms around his waist I slowly fell asleep again and didn't wake up until dinner time. When the two of us got to the dining area there was boxes of pizza waiting on the table. I sat down next to Steve this time looking around before my eyes landed on dad who had a hurt expression on his face. "What now dad?" He looked at me telling me I wasn't sitting next to him as he put a smile on his face. "Oh shut up old man" I told him then stuck my tongue out at him like child. "Pepper she's acting like a child" dad stated as he pointed a finger at me "how about you both shut up and eat." The team just sat there watching the three of us bicker playfully. Dad told me yeah shut up and eat so I took the opportunity to stick my finger into a slice of his pizza which got me a look of shock out of dad. I smiled as he glared at me asking me if I just did that "and what are you gonna do about it?" I asked as I took my finger back. He picked up the pizza slice I touched and put it on my plate so I grabbed it and took a bite "you did that purpose." Pepper smiled telling him that what I did was further proof that I'm his child. Dad looked at her "I wouldn't have done that." She shook her head smile still planted on her face "you'd definitely do something like that" dad cut her off they went back and forth as everyone started their own conversations as they ate. "No no you do stupid stuff when you don't get your own way."

I made a face at Morgan who laughed then I took another bite of my pizza slice. Dad said something a little mean so I kicked him in the shin which caused him to yell out in pain and look at me. "Don't be mean to the mother of one of your children." He glared at me before sighing and apologized to Pepper then dad did the same thing I did to him so I gave him that slice.

We continued to talk as we ate I love the fact that I got to spend some actual time with dad and my half sister. I'm also happy to have a somewhat normal life especially with Steve. After dinner Steve and I went for a walk on the compound grounds hand in hand talking about whatever. It was nice sunny day and we wanted to enjoy some sun before it set for the night. I looked around seeing some birds fly around and bees landing on flowers then leaving thirty seconds later "you know I hope once Hydra shuts down for good we won't see them again" I told Steve as I looked at him. He smiled looking at me "same here. I thought they died out after Ultron." We looked straight ahead smiling I'm really glad that I came here. I wouldn't have met my little sister Morgan and Pepper. I wouldn't have met the rest of the team including Steve and I definitely didn't know at some point I'd be dating Steve Rogers America's well loved Captain. "When we went back in time to get the infinity stones" Steve started off causing me to look at him like where are you going with this "Tony had urge to comment on my ass." I started laughing at that before looking at him like what asking him what do you mean he commented on your ass. "He literally commented on my ass saying the suit I was wearing didn't do it justice." I shook my head at that as we turned around a corner on the main compound building where everyone lived "he also said my ass is America's ass." I looked at him asking him if he thought his ass was America's ass. "Yeah I do" he said which made me laugh again.
