It had been a few days after your wedding. Everyone was running around to get ready for the battle. You were rushing yourself to find your husband. You had a gift to give him. The ring you had made from a piece of metal. You had smoothed it out and polished it. You wanted him to wear something that you had also hand made.
"Ah! Anakin!" You rushed to his side.
He was making sure the ship was filled with all the bombs and things you'd all need soon. Once he heard your voice he turned. His smile bright and brilliant. You hugged him tightly and he returned it.
"I wanted to give you something before we leave"
He looked curious "what is it?"
You held out your hand showing him the ring. It shined softly in the light. He smiled and looked to you. "Y/n. You didn't have to"
"Nonsense. No husband of mine will go without a ring"
As you softly placed it in his ring finger he looked to it. As he looked to yours and back at his he couldn't be happier.
"I love it"
He leaned down and kissed you deeply. Obi-wan walked up smiling seeing the moment. "Alright newly weds. Let's get to work"
You smiled as Anakin looked rather annoyed at his old master. Giving him a wink you heard Obi-wan shout orders for everyone to get into the ships. Loud footsteps could be heard from soldiers rushing to all their stations. It was finally time. Following Anakin you got into the same ship as Obi-wan. Felix was in another ship and he held his hand over his heard.
"May the force be with you both"
You smiled at him as Anakin nodded his way.
"May the force be with you too, Felix. Please, be careful"
Felix smirked "no promises. Keep an eye on her Anakin"
You felt his arm grab you and he held you close "don't worry. I will"
As you got inside you sat down. Obi-wan sat beside Anakin as they started the ship. "Just like old times my friend"
Anakin smirked. He remembered their time in the clone wars. This definitely felt the same. Fighting storm troopers and constantly being on the move. The feel of victory so close you could taste it.
"Hold on"

As the ship blasts out of hyperspace you look to the window and notice that the whole rebellion was shooting in with you. Goosebumps rushed over your body at something so amazing to see. You heard the voice com of everyone checking in to make sure no one was lost. As Anakin moved the ship closer to Coruscant the Empires ships locked on and started to fire.
"Looks like they are shooting first" Anakin spoke
He moved the ship to dodge as the rebels started to fire back. Obi-wan was controlling some of the firing as Anakin was moving the ship with such ease.
"Can you blame them? We killed their death stars easily" obi-wan shouted a bit over the alarms
Ships started to blow up from both sides as you noticed a larger ship fly above yours. "Look out! That's a battlecruiser!"
As those words left your lips the battlecruiser shot out in quick succession. Anakin was moving the ship quickly and you held onto their seats since you stood between them. Anakin was in full focus. Obi-wan was keeping control of following incoming ships.
"Keep it steady for me Ani!"
You rushed from behind them and went to one of the weapons. Obi-wan noticed and sighed with relief.
