As you made your way across the city of Corusant you noticed more rebal ships landing. The fighting getting worse. Lasers shooting across houses, streets, your face. You, Anakin, and Obi-wan had to jump over some corpses of both sides to try and get to the old Jedi temple. Out of breath you looked around.
"Where was it from here?" You turned to look at them.
"Just down that road!" Obi-wan shouted.
As you all continued to go a few stormtroopers got in your way. Which was a big mistake. You ran quickly and slide down on your side. Anakin cut through the troopers and quickly picked you back up. Obi-wan smirked as he continued to run behind you two.
"We could've used her in the clone wars"
Anakin only smiled at Obi-wand comment. "She probably would've gotten into as much trouble as we did. Don't think Max would've liked that at all"
Hearing a chuckle from Obi-wan you soon felt the area around you almost go into slow motion. Hearing a sound of a blast being shot out you looked around fast. The force telling you to rush to Obi-wan's side. You followed what it said and you quickly deflected the shot to another building. Anakin and Obi-wan coming to a halt. Obi-wan taken back because you had sensed that before they did.
"Both of you. You know where the temple is more than I do." After seriously saying this you darted your eyes around. Trying to find them.
"Y/n..." anakin spoke softly.
You looked to him for a moment "head to the temple. Finish off any and all of the empires people. I'll take care of this"
"What? It could've been a normal trooper" anakin said
You looked to the size of the lasers char mark. That type of shot wasn't from a normal troopers weapon. It was from a Mandalorian.
"No. It isn't. Now just do as I said Ani"
Anakin was apprehensive he didn't want to leave you behind. You could feel that and you smiled a bit. "I know you don't want to leave me behind. I'll be right behind you"
Obi-wan grabbed Anakin's arm and slowly pulled him along. Even if he didn't want to go he groaned and ran with Obi-wan. If they didn't finish this then he'd never be able to spend his life with you. As you watched them go out of sight you heard a few more shot be fired. You dodged them and deflected the last two.
"Come out!" You shouted
You heard someone suck their teeth through a mask "you Jedi are troublesome"
Soon a man flew down and landed before her. Holding his weapon in hand his head tilted. "Letting your friend and lover boy—"
"Husband!"
"Oh? Husband? Interesting. Didn't think Jedi could marry"
Sighing you rolled your arms back. Ready to fight this man before you. "It doesn't matter. You're on the wrong side. You Mandalorians only stick to the job your paid to do. Leave"
"Oh no. I'm doing this for the fact if you Jedi get back into power. A lot of our work won't be able to be done. So it hurts business. On top of that. I am getting paid more then you could ever pay"
Sucking your teeth you ignited your lightsaber. "Fine by me"
——-meanwhile at the old Jedi temple———
Anakin and Obi-wan finally had made it after cutting their way through troopers and robots. Anakin had reminded the layout pretty well and he ran up the stairs. A flash of when he had walked up these stairs with stormtroopers in toe made his heart ache.
