chapter 15

Bellah's POV

It was now the next day and it was also the day Katie and Lauren left for national camp. It was Lauren's first senior call up so she was a little nervous but we had a chat last night and she knows she has Katie with her and I've told her I'm only a phone call away if she needs me and she knows that she'll see me at the England vs Ireland game which is in a few days. I had been lying in bed for about 10 minutes before Kate came sleepily running in for a morning snuggle in bed like we've always done since she was a baby and since she could talk its been snuggles whilst talking about what to do during the day.

"Oh hi mamas baby what should we do today after we say bye to auntie kit kat and Lolo?" I asked her as she snuggled up to me. "Can we ring mummy and see if she is busy and see if she'll join us?" She asked me back. "Yeah we can ring mummy let's do it now and we'll see what she's doing today." I told her which made a big smile come to her face. I picked my phone up and facetimed Leah and she answered the phone too. "Hey there's my favourite girls." She said with a smile. "Hey someone wanted to call mummy and ask her something." I said back with a smile on my face. "Oh really what's up baba?" she asked her. "No mama you ask her." Kate said to me shyly. "Come on you're not shy its just mummy." I said to her trying to encourage her to ask. "Umm mummy are you busy today?" she asked her shyly. "Not that I know of I'm not baba." Le answered her with a smile. "Well now you are get yourself dressed and get over here we're gonna do something today." I told her and as I said that someone came in her house shouting for her. "Two seconds" she said to us "Yeah mum what's up?" she asked as her mum came into view.

"I was coming to see if you wanted to do something today." Her mum asked her. "Oh mum Bells and Kate just asked me that." she said feeling bad so I chimed in with "Why don't you bring your mum with you le it'll be nice to see her in person again and not on facetime." I suggested. "Oh are you girls sure?" Amanda asked me not wanting to intrude. "I mean I'm sure someone would like to meet granny Amanda." I told her with a smile. "Wait did she call le mummy?" Amanda asked with the proudest smile since she had met her on facetime with le a few times after some of the games or on our little lunch dates that I treated them too after they helped me with a lot of things. "Yeah she said it yesterday morning when we were lying in bed after accidently falling asleep with her and we were talking and she woke up and said mummy mama being too loud and that was it she hasn't called her le since it's just been mummy." I said with a smile on my face as le sat smiling at what I said. "Hey baby girl granny Amanda is gonna join us too would you like that?" I asked her. "YEAHHH granny Amanda coming to see me?" Kate said now wide awake and excited. "Yeah me and granny Amanda are going to get sorted and come straight to your house okay so we'll see you in a little bit okay." Le answered her as you could see Amanda getting emotional at the fact Kate was excited to finally see her in person. "See yous both soon." I said and with that we ended the phone.

I got up and picked Kate up and we went down stairs to find Katie and Lauren there sorting their stuff getting ready to go Caitlin had already left early hours of this morning so we didn't get to say bye but we do with these 2. "Good morning my mini me." Katie said and took Kate from me whilst I sorted her breakfast out. "Good morning where are you going?" Kate asked her. "Remember when you and mama used to come watch me play football and I'd be wearing a green and white kit." Katie said and Kate nodded her head yes. "Well I have to go there for a week and auntie Lolo is gonna come play with me. Are you gonna wear my shirt when mama brings you to the game in a few days?" Katie asked her. "Yeah I'm gonna wear your shirt auntie kit kat." Kate answered and Katie looked proud and happy with her answer.

We sat and talked for half an hour before they had to leave so we gave them big hugs and helped them put their bags in the boot of the taxi and then waved them off from the door. After waving them off we went upstairs to get ready for our day out. Kate wanted matching outfits so we wore black t-shirts with jeans and then we put our converse on and what we didn't know until they turned up was Le had ended up wearing the same and Amanda had something similar on so we were all matching which Kate absolutely loved and was so excited about.

We were leaving the house as we had decided to go to the park and we chose to walk so I had brought the pram even though shes 3 she is still tiny for her age and I thought it would be easier for Leah to push the pram for her leg. As we were walking Leah went off ahead with Kate having their own little conversation about what to go on first when we get to the park which was just adorable so me and Amanda were having our own little conversation on how well Kate has took to Leah and how Leah has just took all this in her stride which is just amazing it's like she was made for this for us even. It had been about 5 minutes and we were now at the park and we were sat down whilst le went and pushed Kate on the swings and she was loving it but after about 5 minutes they both came back for a drink and as they were getting a drink I heard a little girl about Kates age tell her mum that she wanted to play with Kate as she seemed fun.

"Mama I want to play with that little girl she seems fun." The little girl said to her mum. "Well why don't you go ask her to play." Her mum said to her. "But what if she says no." The little girl said back. "Do you want me to come with you to ask?" Her mum said to her and she nodded and then I saw her get up and come over in our direction. "Hi I don't mean to bother you but harper was wondering if your little girl would like to play with her." The mum said to us. "What do you say Kate do you wanna play with the nice little girl." I asked her and she nodded her head yes and that was them both off playing together.

I could see that someone had took the woman's seat she was sat at so I offered her to sit with us as she looked heavily pregnant. "Hey do you wanna sit down with us it looks like someone took your seat." I asked her. "Oh are you sure I don't wanna intruded?" She asked nervously. "Ofc you can sit with us I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't sure." I said smiling at her. "Thank you. Wait are you Leah williamson?" The woman asked her. "Oh yeah I am." Leah answered her nicely. "I thought I recognised you from my fiance's games against you." She said back. "Oh wait that's where I recognise your little girl from your fiance is Katrina gorry right?" Leah said back recognising where she had seen them from before.

"Yeah that's her." The woman said. "So then that must make you Clara Kyra doesn't shut up about you guys but please take your child back she is now trying to claim Bellah as another parent." Leah said to her laughing and Clara joined in laughing at the Kyra part of that sentence. "Hey leave my little baby aussie alone if she wants to join our little family she is very much welcome." I said jokingly to them. "Hey Katrina will love you for that she'd happily give Kyra to you." She said laughing. "Hey do you think I could get your number it's just I was thinking about having another baby with Leah and we just don't know the right way to go around it with ivf or adopting we're open to both but just stuck on what to do so would you mind if I get it and then we arrange something for when Katrina is back so the 4 of us can sit down and talk about it and the girls could have a little play date too." I asked Clara really wanting some advice and I know she did ivf and I know her partner did ivf when she was alone as well so to get their thoughts and advice on it would be amazing.

"Oh yeah here is my number give me a text when you get home and I will speak to mini when I get back and then we'll arrange something to do like soft play and then dinner or something for the girls and then we could talk about it over dinner and you could get to know me and mini at the soft play so then yous would feel more comfortable speaking to us about it would that be okay for you both?" she asked me. "Omg yes that would be amazing thank you so much plus the girls seem to be getting on great they look like little besties its adorable." I told her feeling very greatfull that she would actually do this. 

We all sat and talked for a bit whilst the girls played but then they both came running over snuggling up in Kate's pram feeling very tired after all that running around in the park. "I think we're gonna have to head off home little miss falling asleep but defo get in touch bells." Clara said to me "I will do you need any help carrying her to the car coz we could always just leave her in the pram till you get to the car we have to go that way anyway." I asked her. "If you don't mind please." She said back feeling thankful she didn't have to carry her. We all grabbed our stuff and set off towards Clara's car and then back off to mine. Leah and Amanda were staying for tea and we are just ordering a takeaway as nobody wanted to cook.
