Chapter 6
"Kaylee, are you sure this is okay?" I asked as Kaylee opened the door to Kal's room.
"Of course! Why wouldn't it be? This is my house too you know. Besides, Kal doesn't mind, and we need to wake him up anyway. It's no fun if he sleeps the whole day!"
We entered Kal's room. Oh gosh, I was in Kal's room! It was medium sized with light blue walls and wooden floors. A desk was right beside the door and music sheets were scattered around on top of it. Next to that was a book shelf crammed with books and a guitar was right beside that. A couple beanbags were laying opposite to the bookshelf. Next to those was a window, and under the window was a bed, and on the bed were two shirtless teenage boys.
"Ohmygoshimsosorry!" I said, blushing as I ran out of the room.
"Why are you sorry?" Kaylee asked with a puzzled look on her face.
"Th-they're shirtless and umm-"
"So? Kal shirtless is nothing special. Dax, on the other hand..." Kaylee spaced for a minute and stared at Kal and the other boy who I was assuming to be Dax. "Anyway, lets wake them up!" Kaylee then left, leaving me alone with Kal and Dax.
They were both squeezed onto opposite sides of Kal's full sized bed. Dax had caramel colored hair and was hugging all the blankets up next to him. He was turned towards the wall so I couldn't see his face. On the other side, Kal had a leg slung over his side of the bed and had both arms slung over his head. He looked really... cute? Whoa! Bad Lori! We will not crush on the neighbor a day after we meet him! I shook my head and quickly looked out the window instead. It was a pretty view. You could see all kinds of things out of it, including my bedroom window. Oh gosh. Oh freakin' gosh.
"You ready?!" Kaylee whispered as she walked back in carrying a bucket full of water.
"Kaylee, why do you have that? Don't tell me your gonna-"
Kaylee took the bucket and splashed Kal and Dax right in the face.
"THE HELL!"
"KAYLEE!"
Kal jumped out of the bed and tackled Kaylee to the floor. Dax left the room.
"WHAT THE HELL DID I TELL YOU ABOUT WAKING ME UP WITH WATER?!" Kal shouted as he wrestled with Kaylee.
"HOW SHOULD I KNOW? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID IT! BESIDES WE'RE GONNA WASH THE SHEETS TODAY ANYWAY!"
"DON'T YOU EVER LISTEN?"
"KAL, HONESTLY, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT YOU WOULD'VE KNOWN ME WELL ENOUGH BY NOW TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION BY YOURSELF!"
"DAMMIT KAYLEE!"
Dax walked back in carrying another bucket. He walked over to stand beside me and to watch the twins wrestle.
"Are they always like this?" I asked.
"Pretty much. Sometimes they use these foam sword things and fight with those. One time they used these foam nunchucks. That did not end well." Dax replied.
"Should we stop them?"
"Yeah, probably." Dax then walked over to the the twins, who were still fighting, and dumped the bucket of water on both of them and shouted, "PAYBACK!" He then grabbed my wrist and ran out of the room.
We ran through the house with both the twins chasing after us. We ran into the front yard and past Dylan and Carter, who were playing with some action figures. We continued to run into the back yard and were cut of by Kal and Kaylee. Kal was holdjng a broen bag and Kaylee was holding a hose, and that hose was on. Oh freakin' shiz!
