Faye's POV

I came a bit late to the event today so My dress was just so plain white, I rush to get in the university because I'm 20 minutes late due to I woke up late because of the hungover, Freen and other go home late yesterday night, but anyways I reach the university safe and quickly come inside.

Once I got inside the event already starts and everyone's energy was now high but still appropriate. I seach for our table and when I find it I saw a familiar figure sitting beside Jennie and I know it was Yoko because my heart skipping a beat as I walk towards it.

And when I got sat beside her, she didn't notice me so I greet her “It's been a while Ms. Apasra, How are you?” I ask keeping my cool because I miss her so much and I want to take this chance to talk to her.

She act like I wasn't at her side and when she's about to stand up the emcee welcomed the new owner of the university.

“Let's all welcome the honorable owners of the Rank 1 and most successful business owner of our country and now the new owners of the LaEla University, Let's welcome hon. Mr. Lertprasert and hon. Mrs. Lertprasert” The emcee said sounds joyful but Yoko seems so shock hearing it, I'm confused at the same time worried so I ask her

“Are you ok?” I ask her holding her hands under the table, her hands are trembling and she look at me with blank expression and stand up to run away.

She walks fast towards the exit door but once she's about to step out Mr. Lertprasert talk.

“Can I ask my dearest grand child to come over here?” Mr. Lertprasert ask the emcee with the genuine smile on his face while Mrs. Lertprasert looking for someone.

“There she is.” Mr. Lertprasert said while looking at our direction.

Everyone's eye are now looking at our direction, Yoko froze from where she was standing and I got shock hearing Yoko's full name being said by Mr. Lertprasert.

“My dearest granddaughter. Yoko Lertprasert Apasra, Join us here my dearest.” Mrz. Lertprasert said and I look at Yoko who also look shock but she still face her grand parents and walk passed me.

I watch her joining her grandparents at stage while me walking back to our table and I saw Jennie and Lisa who's looking so proud at Yoko, I met Yoko's eyes who's in stage smiling to a lot of people while her grandparents saying warm messages from all the guests.
