"Of course." I said before turning my back on him. I removed my turtle neck long sleeve as well leaving my racer back on.

I never stripped in front of anyone before. I am only comfortable to do these things when it's him I am with.

"When did you had that tattoo?" He suddenly asked that made me stopped.

I had a spade tattoo with  black tulips filled with thorns. It covered the left side of my back til the sides of my left boob. Nagpalagay din ako ng alibata at Morse codes sa ilang parte kasama ng tattoo na iyon. Some ideas of how hard my life was and of course, ideas of the things I've been through.

After he left me with unanswered questions.

"Can't remember." I simply said and entered my walk in closet.

"I'm gonna take a bath. You can take a rest in the next room." I said before entering the bathroom.

My thoughts are filled with the words he said earlier.

He was intimidating when I first saw him. And he even looked like he was unhappy to see me.

But...

How come he became that playful?

After all those years, bakit ngayon lang s'ya ulit nagpakita?

Tama ba si Jessa? May kailangan s'ya sa akin kaya nandito s'ya ngayon?

Pinilig ko ang ulo ko at nilakasan ang tubig bago pumikit at tumingala.

I shouldn't be thinking about this.

Besides, if betrayal comes, I know where I would be. And whom I would kill.

"Balita ko nga naghahanda na silang lumusob." Ani Pierre.

"Bakit naman sa lahat ng kalaban nila, tayo ang pinupuntirya nila?" Ani Kleo.

Hinawi ko ang buhok ko.

"Maybe because they knew that the ice blood got our back?" Saad naman ni Jaxon.

"Just make sure that they will be down on their knees." Seryosong ani ko.

I've been in this society for almost six years. And in this familia for five years. Bago pa man ako pumasok, hinanda ko na ang sarili ko.

I'm never scared of death. I was thirteen when I realized that. I'm more scared of living. I'm scared of being happy and then suddenly, I'd have to say good bye.

I made sure that when I laid a foot in the underground society, I am not afraid to leave everyone behind.

"Sure thing, my queen." Ani Ken na nakaupo sa tabi ko.

I asked Aragorn which one of our rivals gonna attack and I was right. Iyon nga yung nakita ko kanina.

No one knew this place so we have to warn our men in our spare headquarters. I'm sure that a bird must lose a feather to leave a mark. Some might die and some will be injured.

Our men were highly trained so I have nothing to worry about.

"Where's Kai?" Ken asked. I was about to answer when Jaero spoke.

"He went to the headquarters to help our men." He said that made me stood up.

"What the fuck?" Galit na ani ko.

Napailing si Deron.

"Give me his fucking documents! Call him!" I shouted.

"Hindi s'ya ma-contact." Ani Ken na kakababa lang ng cellphone.
