AUTHOR'S POV

Why don't you stay for some more days?",Dhruv mom asked caressing Naina's hand looking at Avyaan.

"This time it's really urgent.I need to be there",Avyaan said with a contrite demeanor

"Okay, since it's urgent I'm letting you go",Dhruv mom said enfolding Naina in a hug

"I'll be waiting outside",observing their embrace Avyaan remarked before stepping
out.

""I'll miss you, aunty," Naina uttered while squeezing her tightly in an embrace

"I'll miss you too, beta",Dhruv's mom said while gently stroking her back.

As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow over the Taneja mansion, Naina and Avyaan stood at the edge of the gravel driveway.

The summer had flown by, and it was time for them to head back to the city. Her heart ached with the bittersweetness of departure.

As laughter and chatter filled the air, Dhruv's mom  and dad approached Avyaan and Naina, their faces reflecting both sadness and joy.

Dhruv's mom wrapped her arms around Naina, holding her tight. "We're going to miss you guys so much," she murmured, her voice choked with emotion.

Naina returned the embrace, her eyes glistening with tears. "We'll miss you too," she whispered, her voice trembling. "You've been like family to us."

Next came Dhruv's dad, his hands rough from years of hard work.He clapped Avyaan on the back with a hearty laugh. "Don't forget to write! And come back soon—we need someone to challenge your aunty in cooking",he announced moving his eyes towards Naina

As the evening drew to a close, Naina and Avyaan stood before their loved ones, gratitude shining in their eyes.

"Thank you, everyone," Naina said, her voice trembling with emotion. "We'll carry each and every one of you in our hearts as we embark on this new journey

With one last round of hugs and well wishes, Naina and Avyaan bid farewell to their friend and family. As they drove away into the night, the echoes of laughter and love lingered in the air, a testament to the bond they shared with those they left behind.

The soft hum of the engine filled the car as Naina and  Avyaan, drove down the winding country roads. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the landscape and bathing the interior of the car in a golden light

Naina glanced at Avyaan, a mischievous glint in her eye. "You know," she said, her voice dripping with playful sarcasm, "if I'd known I was going to end up with such a dashing fake husband, I might have volunteered for this mission sooner."

Avyaan chuckled, flashing her a smoldering grin. "Ah, but then where would the fun be in that?" he replied, his tone smooth and teasing. "Half the excitement is in the unexpected surprises, don't you think?"

Naina smirked, leaning closer to him. "Well, in that case, consider me thoroughly surprised," she said, her voice low and conspiratorial. "Who knew pretending to be married to you could be so thrilling?"

Avyaan's laughter filled the car, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I must admit, I'm rather enjoying playing the role of your dashing fake husband," he confessed, his tone tinged with mock arrogance. "But I must warn you, I'm quite convincing in the role."

Naina raised an eyebrow, a playful challenge in her gaze. "Oh, is that so?" she countered, her voice laced with faux skepticism. "Well, I suppose I'll just have to see for myself. After all, I have a reputation to uphold as your equally convincing fake wife."
