Being a philosophy major, many of your classes were spent studying theories, philosophers, and concepts – it was all very deep and made you think, so choosing a creative writing class this semester as an elective just seemed to be a good choice. It made you think, but in other ways that could give you a more relaxing outlet instead of hurting your brain. Plus, you could combine the two in papers you had to write, so it was a crossover you appreciated.

Isn't as mind blowing as the Scoobynatural episode or the Brooklyn 99/New Girl crossover, but still, for uni, it was good.

For your first creative writing class, the professor, who had a very new age hippie style, decided to have the class out on the quad to immerse into the 'energy' that we have created here on campus. It was weird, it felt a little dumb, but you humored it and you noticed one of science girl's friends was here too. You didn't know his name, but he had spiky brown hair and – yep, you guessed it, you had named him spike in your head, so much for taking creative writing as a creative person.

But the professor was doing a roll call for attendance, so it was only a matter of – it's Clint, his name is Clint Barton.

That's one less embarrassing possible slip up when you were going to tell Darcy that science girl's friend was in one of your classes.

He had eyed you with a smirk when you first got to class, but you weren't sure why since you weren't late and you weren't dressed in anything stupid – you kept it classy, but simple on first days to ease the newbies into your expensive taste. And he raised his eyebrows towards you when you called back 'here' after the professor said your name, looking over at you with interest.

'What?' You mouthed to him when you thought maybe you had something on your face, but he only shook his head slightly, turning his attention back to the front.

You shrugged it off, figuring you just misread it, but once the lecture ended, he approached you and it was your turn to raise your eyebrows at him.

"Y/n, right?" He pointed at you with a smirk like he recognized you or something.

"Uh, yeah."

"What'd you think about creative writing?" He asked conversationally, gesturing for you to go so he could walk with you, so you did, heading towards the cafeteria where you were going to meet Darcy, Thor, and Jane for lunch.

"Definitely not looking forward to interviewing a corporation or whatever she was saying, honestly I zoned out, I always get distracted when I'm outside."

"Yeah," He laughed lightly, "I noticed we kind of lost you there for a second and I get that way in the dorms – always have to study in the library or someplace quiet or I'll just totally lose focus."

"Right?" You smiled easily, "And it took me until my third year to get that I'll never be a morning lecture person, learned that the hard way when I nearly failed one of my intro classes."

"I have this one friend who was supposed to be here today," He smirked, and you guys stopped, needing to part ways, "She couldn't even make it to this ten o'clock class," His smirk was bigger as he huffed a small laugh, looking right at you, "And now I know she's going to be pissed."

"Hungover already?" You guessed and he looked like that might usually be the case, but not this time.

"She's more of a night owl, her roommate says she's up at like three sometimes just at her computer or reading a book, I think she already dropped this class to be completely honest – hey, maybe she's finally learning in her third year too."

"I'm the opposite," You chuckled, "I'm more of a morning person as long as there's a cup of tea in it for me, otherwise, I refuse to get up before ten, but I'm out by one most nights."

"Yeah, me too, oh, hey," He held the door to the cafeteria when someone swung it open to leave, "I've got to get to another lecture, but it was nice talking to you."

"You too, Clint." You nodded with a smile when he did and then went towards the building, giving him a wave before he let the door go, but you could've sworn when he pulled his phone out at the same time, he laughed about his friend being pissed she skipped again.

"Over here!" Thor's voice cut through the crowd of students, and you immediately spotted the table, grinning as you joined them.

"What took you so long?" Jane asked with a smile, "We got cheese fries for the four of us, but Thor inhaled half the plate before we sat down."

"Cheese fries don't stand a chance." He patted his belly for emphasis, and you laughed.

"Did you run into science girl again and have intense eye sex?" Darcy teased and Jane politely hid her quiet laugh behind her hand while Thor grinned your way, chewing smugly on his burger.

"Nope," You popped the 'p', digging into your bag for your uni card so you could get lunch for free, "But her friend, Clint, is in my creative writing class."

"Aww," Darcy whined teasingly, pretending to be upset, "So, no eye babies running around yet? Do contact lenses and eyeglasses act as condoms?"

"Is he nice?" Jane asked, letting Thor steal her fries.

"Yeah, seems cool, but he always has that look in his eyes."

"What look is this?" Thor asked curiously.

"Like he knows something no one else in the room does," You shrugged, "Not sure really, hard to explain."

"I don't know if it's that power of manifestation thing or something else, but isn't that," Jane pointed a fry towards the line of people waiting to get their food and you turned to follow her direction, "Your science girl?"

You couldn't help the nervous smile that crossed your face when you saw her in black ripped jeans, black studded ankle boots, and a plain maroon long sleeved shirt. Her hair was let down this time and she examined an apple in her ring clad hand, but you noticed that her nails were painted a dark color – maybe purple.

As if sensing someone was watching her, she turned her attention and your guys' eyes locked, but you let your smile drop in a panic of getting caught, spinning back around in your seat as if that didn't just happen.

"Aw, suddenly our little Y/n is shy." Thor cooed genuinely and Darcy snorted a laugh, taking it to be him teasing you while Jane just smiled at you sympathetically.

You felt pathetic.

"I keep embarrassing myself," You groaned, burying your head in your arms on the table, "And I'm gonna die alone."

"She's still looking at you even though she's moving up in line." Jane muttered and you blushed, but thankfully it was hidden right now.

"Neither of you are very subtle." Darcy smirked and you lifted your head to glare at her.

"Go get me food." You scowled and she chuckled, shaking her head.

"I have a class with her track friend," Thor spoke up and you turned your glare on him, "What?"

"You're just sharing this now?"

"Thor, bringing the drama," Darcy cheered, raising a hand and he high fived it, "Respect for that, big guy."

"What's his name? Are they dating?" You rushed out after a long moment of him not telling you everything.

"Something with a 'P'..." He trailed off and you scowled again, already having known that, "And I don't know, but I'm doing a project with him for my Shakespeare class – it's really interesting because we get to pick a character and then-"

"Invite him to the dorms!" Darcy cut him off with an LP in the making, "Your room is right across the hall from Jane's, and this could be the perfect opportunity to get some scoop."

"Scoop?" Jane scrunched her eyebrows at the word.

"We need a woman to model the Shakespearean inspired dress we want to design, and I told him I'd ask one of you."

"No!" Darcy all but shouted, "You should tell him we can't and then he'll have to find someone, and he might-"

"Get science girl to do it!" Jane finished excitedly and Darcy nodded frantically with a grin.

LPs are legendary.
