UNTIL DAWN

Chapter One - The Prank.

A view of the winter storm is seen as we see a huge lodge with lights on all around. All nine teenagers are seen blasting music and talking with each other. "Ugh why is she here..?" Celia says rolling her eyes talking to her boyfriend Andy pointing to Lizzie. "Baby don't be mean, she's so nice" Andy replies as Celia groans. "Nobody else but you likes her here, it's so obvious honey." Celia says in a laughing tone as Andy looks at her and tries to change the subject, "wanna go take a shot?" Andy asks as Celia nods her head repeatedly, "fuck yes I do!" Celia yells as he takes her to go take a shot.

Barry Micah and Gracie are all seen together, "It's really nice seeing you again Gracie!" Barry says loudly over the blasting music as Gracie smiles, "it's amazing to see you Barry!" she says while dancing to the music as Micah groans and rolls his eyes. "Psst Barry, sidebar come here" Micah says as Barry gives a smile to Gracie before being pulled to the side. "What's up man?" Barry says as Micah gives a playful glare. "Don't what up me, make the move, GO TO POUNDTOWN!" Micah says as Barry immediately gets flustered. "Alright dude you need to chill with that" Barry chuckles as Micah does aswell. "Seriously dude! she's like definitely crushing hard" Micah says playfully pushing Barry's shoulder as he smiles wide. "I promise I will when it's the right time but I don't even know if she feels the same..it's so hard to tell with her." Barry says as Micah softly smiles, "I guess you're right but just promise me you will make the move soon before it's all gone to waste." Micah says holding out his pinky, "I pinky promise bro." Barry says as they share a pinky promise before they then go back to Gracie. "What was that about?" Gracie asks when they get back as Micah tries to hold in a laugh. "Oh uh Micah was just updating me about this football game we have tickets for" Barry says on the spot as Gracie's face lights up. "Ooh! that seems super fun!" she says as Barry smiles and nods before feeling a shove from Micah as they share a look. "Would..uhm" Barry says before letting out a nervous cough, "would you want to go with us?" he asks as Gracie smiles. "I'd love to! you both are so fun to be around." Gracie says as Barry smiles back and looks at Micah who has a visibly proud expression on his face.

It shows Amber and Cassidy talking. "Did you hear about Celia's plan?" Amber asks as she's laughing. "What is it?" Cassidy says as Amber continues, "she wants to lock Lizzie out of the lodge as a little prank" Amber giggles as Cassidy joins in, "that's actually hilarious, is she going through with it?" Cassidy asks as Amber nods as Celia makes her way to them. "Andy and Martin are blacked out from drinking, lets do this!" Celia giggles as they all look at Lizzie who is sitting alone at the party. "She looks so alone I almost kind of feel bad" Cassidy says in a laughing tone as Amber giggles, "how are you going to lure her out?" she asks as Celia smirks. "Follow my lead" Celia says as she pauses the music to play fake door knocking. "Can someone get that?" Celia yells as Lizzie stands up, "I can do it Celia!" she says as Celia smirks. "Perfect thank you Liz!" Celia says turning to Amber and Cassidy with a smile. Lizzie goes to the door and opens it seeing nobody there, Celia, Barry, Gracie, Cassidy, Micah and Amber all sneakily follow behind as Lizzie steps out of the lodge to get a better look to who it is. All of the sudden, Celia slams the door and locks it as Lizzie turns to the door startled by the slam. The group collectively laugh as Lizzie does fake giggles to please them, "very funny guys! you got me!" Lizzie says as she tries to open the door but they won't let her in. "Alright I can just use the backdoor" she says under her breath as she walks towards the back shivering since she left her jacket inside. Lizzie gets to the backdoor and sees that they all locked that too as they continue to laugh at her. "Fuck this..I'm staying in the spare cabin tonight" Lizzie says as tears fill her eyes. She starts to walk as the cold breeze flows into her making her extremely cold.

It cuts back to inside the lodge, "okay okay guys let her back in that was funny and all-" Barry says as Celia cuts him off. "Fuck no! this is hysterical!" Celia says laughing loudly as Gracie and Barry share a empathetic look knowing they can't do anything to stop Celia.

Lizzie unlocks her phone and turns on the flashlight while walking along a trail towards the spare cabin as she hears leaves crunching behind her. She doesn't think to look back and continues to walk as she comes across some stairs leading down. As she starts to walk down them she hears unknown screeching in the distance, "I swear to fucking god if I get eaten by a bear my family better sue their asses." Lizzie says as tears run down her face before she sees the spare cabin in the distance. "Finally, warmth" Lizzie sighs out of relief as she hears movements behind her. She turns around and sees a leather skinned monster screeching in front of her face. A scream rips out of her throat as the monster attempts to grab her but she breaks into a sprint towards the cabin. She makes it there and tries to open the door...but it's locked. She turns to see the creature moving extremely fast towards her as she continues to run with no other choice. She runs into the forest jumping over fallen branches leaving a footprint trail behind her in the snow. She sees a tree big enough to hide behind as she does so. While hiding she looks to the side slightly to see the creature climbing along trees trying to find her as she stays as still as possible. The creature struggles to find her as Lizzie stays quiet. Suddenly, fire is seen in the distance which startles Lizzie and makes her flinch which causes the creature to see her. Lizzie tries to break into a sprint again but this time gets grabbed by the creature. She screams as the creature looks at her with its leathery deformed face before slamming her to the ground making her weak instantly. Lizzie groans as the creature jumps on top of her and starts ripping her stomach open pulling out all of her insides scattering them everywhere. Her body goes limp as the creature screeches loudly at her limp body before climbing away amongst the trees.

Hours later.

"Celia it's been hours maybe we took it too far"Amber says as Celia rolls her eyes, "for fucks sake she's fine she's just a crybaby about everything. Martin and Andy finally wake up rubbing their eyes as they walk to the group. "Hey what happened?" Martin says as the group stay silent. "Where's Lizzie?" Andy says as he looks at Celia, Celia looks around to avoid eye contact as Andy glares at her. "Celia I swear to fucking god if you did anything to that girl-" Andy says before being cut off, "why are you so obsessed with her..I'm your girlfriend she's fine she just can't take the fucking joke." Celia says as Andy shakes his head, "I'm going to look for her." Andy says as Gracie, Barry, Marin & Micah all nod and go with him leaving Celia, Amber and Cassidy alone with the guilt.

After days of not finding Lizzie, she is listed as missing causing the group to feel guilt and go no contact for a year.
