Violet did not go downstairs the next morning.

At around 4 am the night before, Nat went downstairs after staying with her for three hours.

"What happened? How is she?" Naomi asked.

"She fell asleep. Got tired of her own crying."

"She was crying for that long?" Pip said

"Not just crying. She had a panic attack. I hugged her and she slowly calmed down."

"Oh, yes, nothing can make her feel better than a hug." Cara said

"I started caressing her hair and talking to her and she fell asleep. Please take care of her. I know Jamie meant no harm but it was a sensitive question. Don't talk to her about it unless she feels ready to."

"Talk about what? Ravi, what the hell is going on?"

"I don't know, sarge, but we need to respect her boundaries. I'll pick Lilly up from the sleepover tomorrow, so she doesn't have to wake up."

And so he did. When Lilly came back, Naomi and Ravi were playing with her. Pip told Cara they should go check up on her.

They went upstairs and knocked on the door. They didn't hear a reply, so she knocked again. She got worried, so she opened it.

Violet was on the floor, sobbing. Pip didn't know much about how to comfort someone when they were upset, but she knew a hug would make her feel better. So she went next to her and gave her a warm hug.

Violet could not recall how being treated gently was, since she could not remember much from her mom. It had been eleven years, maybe more. But the feeling was there, it hadn't faded away, as she was afraid for it to do.

"Vi, I think it's time to tell her. You have kept that inside you for so long." Cara said

Violet did not reply. She looked at Pip, her eyes full of tears.

"Didn't you see the signs? I gave you so many signs."

She sat there and thought for a second. Violet had told everyone that the killer was Max, in a convincing way as she said. And then she asked her to drive her so she could meet Nat and Becca. Lilly is blue-eyed and blonde. Nat got defensive when Jamie was asking her about Lilly. Overall, she was very focused on ARG and her work. But that could only mean that....

"No...."

"Yes. I am ARG."
