Pip didn't know what to do. She could say she was there for her, that she understood, but she wouldn't, and that would hurt Violet more. Her hands picked up her phone and called Nat. And then Becca. They wouldn't be able to help, but they would be able to understand which would help as much.
Cara on the other hand, tried to comfort her. She went next to her and gave her the warmest hug. She didn't say a word and in reality, she didn't have to. Her hug said the unsaid thing: You're not alone.
Well, both of them helped in some way. Nat and Becca went there in a heartbeat and supported Violet. Cara alerted Naomi to take Lilly away for the afternoon.
But later that night Violet realised that she couldn't just rely on others to take Lilly away when she was vulnerable. She had to act somehow. And she found a way. It would break her heart into pieces, but she had to do it.
For Lilly's own good.
