Losses.

3RD PERSON POV.

Yayora was doing a scope around the entire area, it was early in the morning, the clan would be just waking up.

She lands her ikran, Tanhì (star), right underneath the clan, on the white sand that laid right before the Eastern Sea.

She took a shell and clipped it onto her braids to pull them back. She walked over to her "sister", and grabbed some meat out of one of the pouches on Tanhì's back.

She throws it into the air, landing it into the ikran's mouth. The creature squawking in delight.

Yayora then sees something in the distance and furrows her brows in confusion before identifying it to be sky people ships.

She runs over to the emergency horn on the shore and blows it with all her breath.

It was a special horn, many copies were scattered around the village.

It meant that sky people were approaching, warriors should get ready and clan members and children should hide in their homes immediately or evacuate.

She quickly connected her queue with Tanhì's and jumped on her back. They flew up to the village, and Yayora jumped off of her back.

She watched as all the warriors got ready, all stood by each other orderly. Her mother, father and aunt stood in front.

She gathers her weapons and keeps them ready in her hand before taking her place between her parents.

"Where's A'tok?" The said boy's older sister asks out of worry.

"In the forest, he's safe." Tsentey reassures his eldest. Yayora takes a sigh in relief before keeping a stern face and getting ready.

The ship soon approaches and many avatars come out using ropes. There were quite a lot of them, holding weapons that Yayora wasn't familiar with.

Her eyes squint slightly as she keeps close watch on each and every one of them.

They all step forward and her pulse rate only increases. But she refuses to get intimidated by these poor excuses of na'vi.

They stop. And one of them comes forward.

"Kaltxi," he says. (Hello)

Yayora looks at her mother and father before looking back at the man, feeling confused. How did he know the Na'vi language?

"Hello." Ikeyni greets, no welcoming smile whatsoever, just her regular stern face.

Ikeyni was too a bit terrified but she kept her calm for her clan. But the number of the lot was quite intimidating. Their weapons were so technical and foreign.

"We come in peace. We just have a simple question." He says with a wicked grin on his face.

"We all know you could never come in peace, Quaritch. Not after the war you orchestrated 18 years ago." Tsentey says bluntly.

The man, Quaritch, chuckles at Tsentey's words. "I'm a changed man, isn't it obvious?" He jokes, referring to his "new look".

"What do you want?" Ikeyni asks, tapping her spear on the ground once.
