Kind, gentle and charming, just like her father. They had the same characteristics, but physically, she was her mother's daughter, having straight hair instead of curly. She was an unexpected birth, but weren't they all? But nonetheless, Rotxo named her Parul'a, meaning miracle.
Meet Ke'anu te txampay Aonung'itan. Their first boy. Ke'anu is the youngest of all his siblings, being only 2 years old. The bubbliest baby ever.
ON WITH THE STORY..
A FEW YEARS LATER..The pregnant tsahik was in her mauri, sewing new baby clothes, waiting patiently for her baby boy to be welcomed into the world.
Yayora was a whopping 36 years old, with her fifth child on the way.
"Heyy," Tsireya enters her mauri with a wide grin. She and Lo'ak had one girl, Niri, who was about Tìrey's age.
"Hi," Yayora smiles up at the girl. "Pregnancy treating you well?" Tsireya snickers softly.
Yayora makes a face at the girl, "And it's Rotxo's, again. I swear those boys are competing on who can knock me up with a baby the most," she groans.
"Guess sempul's losing," Tsìlpey chuckles, entering the mauri with Ke'anu in her arms and Parul'a trailing behind her.
"Mama!" Ke'anu shouts as he struggles in his older sister's grip. Tsìlpey chuckles before placing the boy down.
Ke'anu comes running up to his mother who showers him with kisses. "My baby boy, how are you?" She asks.
"Aunty Tuk and Uncle A'tok took us swimming on the tsurak and flying on Nahele," he tells her.
"That sounds wonderful, did you enjoy yourselves?" Yayora asks them.
"Mhm!" Parul'a trots up to her. "It was lots of fun. Cause after that, Aunty Tuk taught me how to use a bow and arrow."
Yayora snickers at her little girl's excitement. "As long as you're careful baby."
Rotxo enters the mauri with Aonung, Tìrey, A'tok, Lo'ak and Niri.
"Not my daughter stealing my title," Rotxo states as he picks up his youngest daughter.
Yayora chuckles and shakes her head.
A'tok takes his nephew out of his sister's arms. "So many kids, can you slow down?" He jokes.
"I try, but these two won't let me," Yayora sticks her tongue out at her brother who was now 30 years old, mated to Tuk, with a baby on the way.
"I just can't wait till I get to see your kid, I bet they'll be so bubbly and energetic like their mother," Yayora states.
"Hey!" Tuk shouts as she enters the mauri and comes to her mate's side.
Yayora chuckles as the room erupts into conversation.
Aonung and Rotxo come over to sit on the other sides of their mate, kissing both her cheeks out of pure affection.
Tsìlpey comes over and lays on her father's lap while Tìrey comes over and lays on her father's.
Parul'a sits in between her mother's legs as Yayora begins to unbraid the girl's hair.
Ke'anu crawls over to his father and lays in his arms.
A knock is then heard on the mauri walls and everyone turns to Lunapey. "I've brought visitors."
Neteyam, Kiri and Talo then peek behind Lunapey, entering the mauri as everyone greets them.
They then catch sight of the huge family seated on the floor.
"Woah," Talo takes a step back in shock. "These all yours?"
"Yep, with another on the way, in the next 6 months, I'll be a mother of five."
"Damn, you've been busy," Kiri tilts her head. "And last time I was here was what? Ten years ago?"
"Exactly, we thought you were done with Tìrey," Neteyam says.
"Surpriseeeee, I've got more babies," Yayora says as she squeezes Parul'a, the girl chuckling in response.
"So what are their names?" Neteyam asks as he crouches down.
"This is here is Parul'a, my little miracle, Rotxo's girl. And that one there is Ke'anu, clearly Aonung's. You can tell by his energetic and naughty personality," Yayora states.
Both boys pout at her. "Mama's mean, isn't she?" Aonung asks his son who nods in response.
"Aww, is mama mean?" Yayora snatches Ke'anu from Aonung.
"Tell mama she's mean," Yayora begins to tickle the child. Ke'anu is too busy under a fit of chuckles to even speak.
"Okay! Mama's nice," Ke'anu states. "Ke'anu," Aonung places a hand on his chest as he looks to his son in disbelief.
Ke'anu sticks his tongue out at his father as Yayora hands him back to Aonung, continuing with Parul'a's hair.
"They're so cute, can I steal one?" Talo asks. "Kiri, make your pick. I'm really leaning towards Ke'anu. Or maybe even Tìrey."
The entire room chuckles at Talo's behaviour.
That night, they all enjoyed supper with their huge family. Laughter, smiles and joy filling the aura of Awa'atlu.
